	The Many Suits of Superman</p>

Fleischer Studios' Superman (1941)

One of the highlights of the golden age of American animation, Fleischer Studios' Superman cartoon shorts featured a slightly different logo on the Man of Steel's uniform, with a black background for the red “S” and a yellow border for the shield. The first cartoon produced by the studio was nominated for an Academy Award, so the slight change in wardrobe clearly had the approval of all the right people.

I am a big fan of Superman and Nicolas Cage, but not Nicolas Cage AS Superman. Fantastic collection, brought back memories of my black and white days. Thank God we have color!!! My grand daughters are taking me to see Superman today for Fathers Day!!!!

Great collection. I'd still like to know if the black Smallville costume was a deliberate nod to the black "Death of Superman" costume. My start with Superman was the old George Reeves show.

Nice collection. Good to see the full breadth of the character incorporated to draw from. Just missing the Smallville Season 11 comics version of Superman. Retains a lot of the feel of the traditional suit but folds in the lack of trunks of the New 52 version. Best version of the trunkless Superman going right now.

All I can say is "THANK YOU!!!" for not letting Nick Cage take on the cape onscreen. I'm definitely a big fan of the Chris Reeve, Dean Cain, Tom Welling and Henry Cavill iterations of Superman.
