By far the best Bane in a Batman film. Tom Hardy was amazing and exciting to watch ! The Dark Knight Rises Bane wasn't over the top and chessy. Nolan and Hardy both created a character that was realistic dominant dark and could hold his own against Christian Bale. I absolutely love this movie

In my opinion, the biggest transition from old style to revamped modern day is Bane. In the comics, Bane is more like Tom Hardy's in The Dark Knight Rises (from the trailers that are shown). Bane was a prisoner at a high-end jail and he was used in a military experiment to increase muscle strength and stamina, which proved successful with him. The look and attitude is definitely more frightening and realistic in TDKR than Batman & Robin. Bane is big, bad, and ready to execute the plans for Gotham's destruction!
