Gingers

David Wenham

If you’re a fan of David Wenham’s, you know him by name. If you’re not, you probably still know him by sight. The Aussie redhead and his orange stubble have been in a number of leading Hollywood movies. He played the brief part of Audrey in Moulin Rouge, the much more notable Faramir in The Lord of the Rings, Dilios in 300, the slimy Eden Fletcher in The Proposition, and Harry “Pete” Pierpont in Michael Mann’s Public Enemies.

All hair is beautiful! I think its bologna that anyone should be made to feel inferior because of their friggin hair color! ITS JUST HAIR! And boo hoo to Geraldine Keane. Every color has its own stereo types; blondes are dumb red heads are mean and brunettes get some cruel jokes as well. Only a small percentage of ppl hold up to those profiles. Let's just all agree that Merida is amazing and leave it at that. Brave was a great movie, that should have come out on mother's day, and I hope they make more princess movies from all around the world.

I love red hair. I thought only Europeans had red hair. WRONG!!! I was in West Africa and saw one little boy with this shock of red hair and thought how awful his mother was to dye his hair! As days go by and I travel further I enter in to a region with naturally red headed ebony skinned African men, women, and children! It was very exotic..., like a tip on a scale. Very beautiful too!

Red hair is the most beautiful hair color a woman can have. The statistics have spoken. Men notice redheads almost as much as they notice blondes, just a minuscule hair less (no pun intended), and they statistically rate redheads as better relationship material because the hair color is exotic and beautiful like blonde, but the redhead woman is considered more mature, nurturing, positive and a better companion than the blondes. And obviously much moreso than women with brown or black hair. True statistics! Other true statistics are that blondes are better for fun (so watch out blondes!) while redheads are for fun AND marriage. Redhead guys are not so fortunate as the redheaded sirens; redhead men are rated by women as the least attractive.

What about Benedict Cumberbatch? He's a natural ginger and EXCEPTIONALLY talented. Have you seen BBC Sherlock? It's a wonder that man hasn't won an Emmy already (but, don't worry; he's nominated this year)!

A lot of nice things to say about actors who happen to have red hair. Only RUPERT GRINT brings up the downside to being a red head, the "gingerisms". It's awful in U.K & IRE.. It's pretty bad here in the U.S. but b/c the media hasn't really covered it, it's not well known. In movies, on tv, and cartoons, the bad guy, the freak, the bully is many times a red head with fair skin and freckles. It's ironic that they are so often portrayed as the bully when in real life red heads are often the victims of bullying. There are so many archaic stereotypes that just won't die - if you have red hair than you have a firey personality and a bad temper. Slang words such as "fire crotch" & the word GINGER itself is an insult. Ginger is not a color!
