Usually this is the spot where we rate the weekend's box office champ, but since Shrek Forever After somehow managed to defeat both Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time and Sex and the City 2 with $55 million, we thought it might be best to get your thoughts on the second and third place movies – whether they deserved those not-so-hot box office numbers, and if you'd like to see more.

prince of persia was actually a good movie if what you want is an escape into a different world then where you are now. the acting could have used a little something more but then so could the acting in 300 and thats with me being a huge gerald butler fan. it wasn't as good as the pirates movies but then that is johnny depp who has a lot more experience and just talent then almost any actor out there so it that really a fair comparision?the cgi that they are using in these films is getting a little out of hand though, why can't they use more real stunts that could be possible then just resting on the newer technology that shouldn't have necessarly taken complete control of what seems almot all action flicks
Prince of P was full of PP. It ran like a romance novel with stinky acting, 2 bit dialogue and unbelievable plot line. Given all that, if you don't take it remotely seriously and can just enjoy Jake G's pretend stunts and not hope for good acting by whatever her name is - well, then, just go have a good rest from the real world.
Awesome movie, fantastic leading lady, she could make any movie look better, wow!
After Samantha (Sex and the City) told Smith she loved herself more than him, that was the end of my interest in the series. When she gets over herself and realizes what a gem she had in him, I'll be back. Her kiss-off was too lame for words. It was like Beauty and the Beast with Beauty telling the Beast she's leaving because he sheds. Yuck.
Just got out from seeing the Prince of Persia movie. Great movie! Really enjoyed it and it was a great family movie. Both my nine year old son and eight year old daughter loved it too! Much better than Shrek. Good job!
walked out of prince of persia after about 30 minutes. crappy acting, crappy editing, crappy story................nice bells and whistles but I'm just sick of the fake hollywood cgi crap.
stop going to those kind of movies... problem solved. sick and tired of you idiots always bashing on these movies. watching the trailer u see exactly wat the movie will be and how its made. wat did u expect an oscar winner.
For your info, I usually like these kinds of summer popcorn movies movies, but there is a difference between good ones( pirates, iron man, new star trek, first transformers, lord of the rings, first matrix, etc). And crappy ones. I was just giving my opinion anyways, if that offends you then you need to go work on that problem. If you don't like negative reviews, stop reading, problem solved!
"Welcome to the party, pal."
"I am serious... and don't call me Shirley."
"When am I gonna learn how to punch?"
"These go to eleven."
"Benjamin, have you ever been severely beaten about the face & neck?"
"Just keep swimming, swimming, swimming."
"You're gonna need a bigger boat."
"Jessica's got cable."
