It may be blowing your mind right now to see two films up there listed as box office winners in the title, but there’s a reason for that. See, there was a photo finish at the box office this weekend between the Adam Sandler/Jennifer Aniston comedy Just Go With It ($31 million), and the 3D Justin Bieber biopic/concert film Never Say Never ($30 million). Some have suggested that Never Say Never will ultimately win the weekend once the final numbers come in, though at this moment in time Just Go With It is in the lead. Thus, you can see why we’re listing both films this week. (And in case you’re wondering, Gnomeo & Juliet finished third with $25 million, while The Eagle and The Roommate rounded out the top five with about $8 million each.)
Jennifer Aniston, Adam Sandler, Justin Bieber, Just Go With It, Never Say Never 3D
bah, not never say never, Just go with it didn't inflate it's price, Miss-typed.
I'd like to see how many tickets were actually sold because to be fair to JB it probably was a closer race than you're giving him credit for. While 3D definitely inflates the price, the crowd seeing that movie purchases a lot more discounted tickets because they get child price and tend to see the show during matinees (earlier in the day again usually with lower prices). I am pretty sure that Just Go With It still wins, but still probably a close race.
The Point is Justin Bieber lost to a Adam Sandler romantic comedy. Nothing against sandler I enjoy most of his films but still, not oscar winning material here. The fact that there going to rerelease never say never with never before seen footage is proof that there grasping at straws.
I wonder if fandango is being paid off by justin bieber really, it's so close I have to list it nonsense, how bout obviously the bieber movie lost cause never say never didn't inflate it's price with 3D tickets??? Never say never had more viewers, It won, the people spoke and they don't give a ^^^^ about that no talent ^^^^.
Very funny and enjoyable. I always like Jennifer Aniston and my husband like Adam Sandler. So watching together this movie was good. You can guess the end of the story, but still touches your heart that sometimes the true love is just in front of us and we always take it for granted. Love it and will watch it again
