As Spider-Man and Batman wait ominously in the wings, this weekend finds a little something for everyone as Pixar unspools their latest, our 16th President fights vampires and two lost souls try to find a connection before the world ends. Do any of them have a shot at tackling Madagascar 3 in order to claim box office victory? Let's take a closer look ...
Brave
What's the Scoop: The new animated film from Pixar takes us to Scotland for a story about a red-haired princess who accidentally brings a chaotic curse to her kingdom and must put a stop to it before everything she knows and loves is destroyed.
Why It Might Win the Weekend: Because it's a Pixar film, duh. Do these movies ever lose a box office fight?
Abraham Lincoln: Vampire Hunter
What's the Scoop: Based on the book by Seth Grahame-Smith, the film tells of an alternate history where our 16th President sets out to eliminate a group of vampires who plan to take over the country.
Why It Might Win the Weekend: Because this may be your one and only chance to see Abraham Lincoln be a total badass on the big screen. (Wait, actually, it's not. Steven Spielberg's Lincoln arrives in theaters later this year. Sorry.)
Seeking a Friend for the End of the World
What's the Scoop: Steve Carell and Keira Knightley play a couple of lost souls who go on a road trip to tie up loose ends -- and discover one last connection -- as the end of the world approaches.
Why It Might Win the Weekend: This is like the diet summer blockbuster, for those who want more quirky character dynamic and relationship-related storylines than scenes featuring New York City being destroyed by monster robots, but still want a big-budget concept. If that sounds like your cup of tea, this one's for you.
My Prediction: Never bet against a Pixar movie in its opening weekend, and so I'm going with Brave for the big win.
My Pick of the Week: Did you know Woody Allen has a new movie out this weekend? Yup, it's in limited release, but if it's screening near you then swing by and check out Allen's love letter to the city of Rome in To Rome with Love, another quirky European ensemble comedy from the iconic director, which stars folks like Alec Baldwin, Jesse Eisenberg, Penelope Cruz and more.
Alright folks, now it's your turn -- sound off below with your pick for which film will win this weekend's box office.

Brave will definitely will win this weekend. I know that Vampire Hunter is a novel but I think it is an insult to Abraham Lincoln. Abraham Lincoln is by far the best President and Hollywood has to go ruin it by making it a vampire movie. Thanks for disappointment Hollywood! Seeking a Friend looks alright. Pixar / Disney Brave will be the winner this weekend.

I think it's going to be Brave obviously because it appeals to a younger audience. Not that Madagascar doesn't but it's already been out for two weeks. Seeking A Friend doesn't look like it would that appealing to anyone if you ask for my personal opinion. I'm undecided of whether The Vampire movie will be good, I'm leaning on the good side but either way I still think Brave will win for the fact that it appeals to a lot wider audience then the other movies that haven't been out for two weeks will.
