Would You Rather: Kristen Stewart as Snow White or Lois Lane

By: Erik Davis on February 2, 2011 at 4:01PM Comments (24)

With Twilight winding down, folks have been buzzing about which big role Kristen Stewart will take on next. She’s already being courted for a couple interesting roles, though the girl is a big fan of independent cinema and we wouldn’t be surprised if she ultimately ends up taking on parts in much smaller films.

Kristen Stewart

Still, though, it’s fun to imagine her taking on a few of our favorite iconic characters, and the past week has brought news of two specific parts the actress has been considering. First up is a chance to play Snow White in a new live-action version of the classic fairytale called Snow White and the Huntsman. Additionally, there’s word that Zack Snyder wants to try Stewart out for the role of Lois Lane in his upcoming Superman movie.

Both Snow White and Lois Lane are completely different characters, though they’re similar in that they both find themselves in interesting relationships with men. If we were choosing, we’d prefer Stewart to play Snow White over Lois Lane, but in the end we’d rather you make the call.

Tell K-Stew which role she should take on next by voting in our poll below.

Personally, I thought the S/play's dialogue for Twillight & New Moon pretty well, pardon the pun, sucked. The books were written to appeal to teenage girls, their main audience, and taking that fact into account, they succeed admirably. I loved the storyline even if the writing was a little juvenile for my adult tastes. The character of Bella was suppose to be awkward & introverted, but very intelligent, quick-witted & funny, none of which came across in the dialogue in the first two movies. To be fair, K. Stewart could only do what the screenplays' dialogue & directors allowed her to do with the Bella character -- which wasn't much.. Yes, she's not a naturally good actress or interviewee, but should improve w/experience as most actors

    K. Stewart IS a total sour puss. PLEASE do not cast her as Snow White. Snow White is a childhood favorite and it needs someone who is more gentle, humble, non-assuming, loves animals, and is sweet and caring and has no chips on her shoulder. Someone graceful and lovely. Someone whose skin is pale and flawless and hair is black and is NOT an iconic pop movie actress among teens. I think the role calls for someone completely new and unseen in anything ever before. Someone delicate and innocent and beautiful but not commerically. I should cast the part. Actually, I SHOULD be the new snow white!

If Snow White sleeps through the whole movie, then maayyyybe she could play Snow White. But if she opens her eyes and starts scouling, even for a second, I may puke. Kristen Stewart is a sour puss.

At the same time, she already looks like a used up coke addict. Lois Lane is definitly not one of those, and I don't remember any reference to cocaine in the old fairy tales.

Not interested in actress Kristen Stewart or the twilight series. I don't have anything against her really, she's just typical to me. She wouldn't be my first choice for either part, I'd like someone older & more womanly for Lois Lane, and someone less attatched to one specific pop iconic character for Snow White (I'll probably see Bella Swan.) But if she HAD to be in one I'd make her Lois Lane, since she's already played a Snow White-like part in Twilight, a pale-faced gentle lamb. At least with Lois she'd be attempting something new and different. Also I don't follow super man stuff at all, so it won't make a difference to me if it get messed up. But I do like gothic and fantasy things so I will actually see Snow White and the Huntsman

I would rather have her be snow white. At least then she'll only destroy something that isn't a national treasure. Her acting is terrible. There is more emotion shown in a common dish towel than in her terrible excuses for range.

Snow White is a treasure though. It is a classical fairytale and has been around for GENERATIONS upon generations. It originated from many countries in Europe.I hope someone else is cast, but I bet she will be Snow White. :(

I am not a twilight fan but I like her! i think the proper role could help her get past being Bella. Of Course everyone says shes horrible Twilight is horrible, and Bella really is ten times more brooding in the books from what I hear. I do not think Lois Lane is a great choice but hey maybe I'm wrong. I would see more as a snow white type.

I agree wholeheartedly that she should not be cast in anything further -- especially (hopeful) blockbusters. She cannot act, she is typecast as the awkward outsider who can't express herself. The only thing I could stand her in was Speak, and what kind of character did she play? (hint: an awkward outsider that couldn't express herself or speak in front of groups) And, before someone throws The Runaways out there, the movie was decent I will give you that, but it wasn't because of her. So can we add a "neither" to that poll or is it too late?

I think that she should NOT do either because she's a pretty horrible actress. She is just so awkward that I can't see her succeeding in either of those roles.

It didn't ruin her career She's a great actress, and she portrays Bella really well. The Saga really got her name put out there, especially with how many people are crazy over the entire series

That's the thing though; look at basically everyone in Star Wars except for Harrison Ford and maybe Mark Hamill. Their careers, upon the films finally ending, were shot. They were typecast to hell and back, and they couldn't get any good roles. I have no doubt that similar atrocities will occur once Twilight has ended.

Kristen Stewart is far from anything even resembling a good actress. She has one facial expression, and doesn't do anything in movies and except blink excessively, bite her lips, and exhale loudly. I want to know who in their right mind thought she would do a good job as Lois Lane. They obviously need to get their head examined. She is one of the worst actresses in Hollywood, Twilight or not!
