Some celebrities are a little cautious around their screaming fans because, well, they don't want a fan to accidentally scratch them or do something inappropriate while trying to get their attention/autograph. Robert Pattinson, on the other hand, is afraid for a whole different reason: he's apparently worried that there's a chance he may be infected with HIV should a fan approach him with an open wound and ask the star to suck their blood.
OK, that's sick, but ... chill out, RP. Teenage girls aren't exactly a high-risk demographic for HIV infection. And anyway, disease transmission is next to impossible orally; it would have happen intravenously -- blood to blood. So unless you're cutting yourself open, too, you don't have to fear the weirdos.
D: Oh dear lord when will this stupid fad just die in a pit.
It's just as bad with poor Taylor Lautner. Some nutty Twimom asked him to sign the panties she was wearing. Ech.
I'm 61 years old and totally in love with the "Twilight Saga". This said, I adore the actors, especially Robert, but would never think to put him through the things the 'adoring' fans put him through. They work so hard to bring the books to life and do a fantastic job doing it. I'm disabled and don't get out much, but I went to see "New Moon" and was not disappointed. Being disabled is hard enough, but being normal and Robert, Kristen, and Taylor must be very hard. I love you guys, and thank you for a wonderful job.
People need to realize hes not a vampire, he just plays one on the big screen. They need to realize hes a person just like everyone else. Just because hes cute doesnt mean that people should treat him like a piece of meat.
That's simply embarassing. I would think some people would have more respect for themselves, at the very least some kind of common sense.
Yeah! Some people are so crazy and stupid. They ruin it for everyone else that's still sane.
That is sooooo gross. Seriously people are insane. It's too bad when something like that happens because it reflects badly on other fans.
"Welcome to the party, pal."
"I am serious... and don't call me Shirley."
"When am I gonna learn how to punch?"
"These go to eleven."
"Benjamin, have you ever been severely beaten about the face & neck?"
"Just keep swimming, swimming, swimming."
"You're gonna need a bigger boat."
"Jessica's got cable."
