I like the Lizard, but my ultimate villain in the Spiderman universe is Venom.
I think the Lizard is a great villain for Spider-man because it really makes him have to decide between the desires of someone he really looks up to and what is good for all of society. I was really excited when I found out Lizard would be in the reboot because he is my favorite!
I liked the lizard, since was a different enemy. But I think the best villain here is Venom. Because as we see in the 3rd movie of the regular spider-man serie, Venom took out the worst from Peter, and then there he is, struggling with his good and bad side, he doesn't really know who the enemy is, if Venom or himself. And that's why he is good, our Spider-man faced something different, and scary at the same time.
The Lizard is a good villain for spiderman but he is too dominant and smart for spidey. Still a very good villain!
I like the Lizard. Well i LOVE the Lizard. But I think, in my opinion, Green Goblin and Venom are the best villains in the comic book genre. Again, in my opinion!
I thought te lizard was very beneficial tithe movie plot. The fact that Dr. Connors is the lizard offers Peter challenges in some personal relations since the Dr. Offers some insights into Peter's dad. The lizard also challenged Peter Parker and spiderman in ways he is just learning like using his newly discovere powers. GO Spiderman!!!
I never really felt like the lizard was a spidy "villian" i always thought he was just misunderstood and misguided. The ultimate spidy villians in my opinion were venom an carnage. Now those were villains who were created out of pure rage an insanity and wanted nothing more then to
Create mayham an destruction. Those are the kinda charecters that make for great villians much like the joker in batman. "some men just want to see the world burn"
The Lizard was a good villain for this movie, but I think they changed the character too much in order to create a superhero movie villain. Was really kind of disappointed.
The Lizard is a okay villian, but I would much rather see a full film based on the best villian ever: VENOM!!!
I will always love the Green Goblin. Not sure if anybody will be able to top him, although I did like Venom too. Hopefully the new series will do a new Green Goblin next!!!
The lizard is okay..but I personally like the Green Goblin better :)
The Lizard was a great villain for "The Amazing Spider-Man," and he was portrayed very well by Rhys Ifans.
Here's my review of the movie at [BLOCKED WEBSITE]
The Lizard is a classic Spider-man villain. So it's about time that he made his appearance on the big screen.
The lizard is a great Villain!!!
The Lizard is a good villain because he provides a definitive physical challenge for Spider-Man. As Dr. Conners, he is also a match for Peter Parker's intellect.
The Lizard was a really cool villain, and one that I'm glad they used for the new Spider-Man movie since he hadn't been before in the first trilogy. And I like how they didn't bring in a main villain for the very first movie, but I would personally like to see Venom next. Although Venom did appear in the first trilogy, I'm sure they can make him ALOT better (like actually give him the tongue that distinguishes his character and not make him sound like a hyena!!).. And maybe in another movie they should have Gwen Stacy's death at the hands of Green Goblin as seen in the original comics. Basically a few more movies as amazing as this one! Haha
The Lizard is a good villain because he's a man who unintentionally becomes a monster. He has heightened speed, strength, stamina, reflexes, and agility that rivals Spider-man. If he loses a limb, he grows a new one instantly. He can also communicate with other reptiles via telepathy.
Loved the movie yes please!!!
Yes, I prefer the Lizard, it was not too scary for my grandsons.
I think the lizard is a great villain for spider-man and has great motives for why he did what he did to himself but i think another villain would be perfect for spider-man and that is Mysterio master of illusions. He could really mess with peters mind and emotions and really make peter believe his parents are alive or that gwen has died a terrible death because of him, he is one of those villains that just enjoys watching spider-man suffer in his own fears and worries.
Great movie with a nice plot but the lizard seemed a little unrealistic. I think villains in past Spiderman movies were better.
I like how the Lizrd was worked in as part of the Parker family legacy, but my favorite Spider-Man villain is Venom. A combination of two beings who hate him, almost all of his powers, and able to elude his Spider-sense. The twisted, evil version of Spidey is easily spidey's best villain.
I like the lizard but Carnage has to be my favorite villian of all time!
I've always liked The Lizard as a villain but also love Green Goblin for the internal conflict of the character.
"Welcome to the party, pal."
"I am serious... and don't call me Shirley."
"When am I gonna learn how to punch?"
"These go to eleven."
"Benjamin, have you ever been severely beaten about the face & neck?"
"Just keep swimming, swimming, swimming."
"You're gonna need a bigger boat."
"Jessica's got cable."
