This week's monster release is the critically lauded third Daniel Craig-as-Bond movie Skyfall, and the movie got folks over at our sister site Movies.com thinking about all things Bond. Conversation starter Christopher Campbell took to Twitter to ask, what IS the absolute best Bond movie? and reported the answers. Meanwhile resident statistics freak obsessive Eric D. Snider collected just about every statistic you'd want to know about Agent 007, from how many total kills he's made to how many women he's been with, and everything in between. And then Kristian Harloff and Mark Ellis recap the five worst villain hairdos ever in movies on The Schmoes Know Movie Show -- would you agree?
Movies.com also wraps up every bit of news you care about and maybe some you don't around Star Wars Episode VII.
Think it's too early for awards predictions? Not so.
And finally, The Amazing Spider-Man, an excellent reboot given fairly short shrift but is pretty entertaining all around thanks especially to terrific performances by Andrew Garfield and Emma Stone, came out on DVD and Blu-ray today. Check out this exclusive interview with director Marc Webb, who talks about casting, the sequel and the DVD extras.

Casino Royale and GoldenEye are my ultimate favorite films of the series, but after watching Skyfall last night, it has made me have a heart for it. It was extremely good. The final scene had me on the edge of my seat. haha What a a great film and story. Cannot wait for Bond 24. :)
Quantum of Solace was made during a film writers' strike. Daniel Craig even jokingly admitted that they were making up the script as the movie went along and that he had some input into the writing process and he's not a writer ! Nevertheless, I liked Quantum a lot. I think the best James Bond movie was "Casino Royale" followed ever so closely by From Russia With Love.
The worst was"A View to a Kill"only because Roger Moore was sooooooo old and he looked like my grandfather chasing and beating up 30 year old henchman.
On Her Majesty's Secret Service, I think it was the most funniest and the ski chase scene was fantastic! My second was Casino Royale (2006) and third was GoldenEye. I hope Skyfall is good.
Casino Royale was my best in the series.
Not that it was actually asked here but I'll answer it any ways: Quantum of Solace was the best bond film.
Quantum was okay but it didn't make a whole lot of sense and had horrible action directing and editing!
Yeah, I think it was the director fault with Quantum of Solace and not Daniel Craig.
It had pretty much the best action I've seen in a bond film and everything made sense...not sure where you are coming from or what film you saw.
Are you talking to me or Hunter Ewing?
I guess Hunter.
"Welcome to the party, pal."
"I am serious... and don't call me Shirley."
"When am I gonna learn how to punch?"
"These go to eleven."
"Benjamin, have you ever been severely beaten about the face & neck?"
"Just keep swimming, swimming, swimming."
"You're gonna need a bigger boat."
"Jessica's got cable."
