Update: This giveaway concluded on Dec. 18, 2010. Thanks to all who participated!
Greetings, computer-savvy moviegoers! To welcome you to the Troniverse and hype you up for Tron: Legacy, which hits theaters Friday, Dec. 17, we're giving away $50 in Fandango Bucks to five lucky winners. You can check out our exclusive limited edition Tron designs, one of which features Jeff Bridges looking at himself—about 30 years younger!
Technology these days allows actors to play any age—a real treat for Bridges, who revisits the cyber world he left 28 years ago when the original Tron opened. To enter our giveaway, post a comment to this blog post [one comment per entrant, please] with your answer to the following question: If you could revisit any age, how old would you choose to be and why? While you're pondering the possibilities, check out what's happening on The Grid via our Tron: Legacy Guide. Enter one comment from now until 11:59 p.m. PST, on Dec. 17, 2010, and we’ll randomly select five winners to receive free Fandango Bucks!
Tron 2, Jeff Bridges
I would revisit the age of 3, my favorite number, and the time when the world just started to make sense.
If I could revisit any age it would probably be 30. I would not want to go through teen years again especially in this day and age. At age 30, my health was the best ever before being diagnosed with cancer. There are some nutritional things I would change, but I know everything I have gone through is meant for me to grow character and mature into the woman I was made to be.
17 because that is how old I feel now and as old as I ever want to be.
If you could revisit any age, how old would you choose to be and why? I would choose to go back to my high school years. Knowing what I know now, I would not have allowed others to influence the decisions I made, or the activities I did or did not partake in ( at school) - I would completely be the person that I am now, with the attitude that I have now, to take life by the horns and live every moment to the fullest!!!!
My husband is anxiously awaiting this show!
I wish i could start over at age 1 just so my mind would still be the same, and i wouldve prompted my parents to the a house when they were still cheap!
I would return to my sophomore year and actually put effort into thinking about college year. Or my senior year, and this time I would not let the richety rich kids make me feel bad about my life to where I just wanted to leave. I would have enjoyed my last year of school.
When I was 6 and asking my mom to rent Tron on VHS over and over again until she bought me the Tron arcade from a local arcade that was closing down. Tron is forever! ....... End of Line.
I would choose to be 8--back when life was easy---no troubles, no job no bills.
I would have to be 43 again because thats when my late husband & I started our 7 best ever years together!
I would choose to be 40 again, it was a time when I went down a path I should have avoided. Love Tron, looking forward to seeing it.
This looks awesome..sci-fi is back
I would go back to my freshman year in college - too much fun!!!!
I'd go back to when I was 14, back when life was simpler and all my friends were still around. There was nothing to fight over and everyone got along.
I would go back to college and do it right this time. But I would only go back if I could change things..to go back and just have a "do over".. no thanks. For a "do-over"..my wedding day to my husband. Over, and over again. :)
I'd do so many things differently; but I'd still have the same people in my life, good and not so good.
booya. movie looks intense
I would go back to last Friday so I could enjoy my weekend all over again.
I would revisit middle school again so I could relive it with confidence and become the only person in America to actually enjoy that God awful period of life.
Finally saw the original Tron last week. It's tough to see when they pull it off store shelves!
I would go back to just finishing high school. So I could see my father again (he died when I was 19). Maybe I could have some sort of influence on myself, if so, I would suggest I rethink where I was headed.
I would love to be 16 again I loved my high school years.
I would pick eleven...that was before it started going downhill.
I would choose to be 4 years old. Nice and safe at home with my parents, not getting picked on by other kids in school, basically the star of the show!
Age 10, the age of wonder and realization.
"Welcome to the party, pal."
"I am serious... and don't call me Shirley."
"When am I gonna learn how to punch?"
"These go to eleven."
"Benjamin, have you ever been severely beaten about the face & neck?"
"Just keep swimming, swimming, swimming."
"You're gonna need a bigger boat."
"Jessica's got cable."
