Using the smoke screen of reaching 10 million fans on the movie's Facebook page, director James Cameron premiered the new trailer for the upcoming 3D converted version of Titanic.
In the intro, Cameron sends out a plea for more of your money by saying that he can't wait for us to experience the movie like never before. This point is reiterated several times during the actual trailer as the music swells and Celine Dion's lyrics float through the background.
Titanic, James Cameron
I feel the same way. I remember seeing the original in 98 and it was great then, but I don't see what he could add to it to make people want to go back and see it in 3D. It comes on TV all the time so what would he have done to make people pay money to see a movie that stays on TV?
I don't know what seeing Titanic in 3D will add, but to each their own.
I never got to see Titanic in theaters since I was 9 at the time. So I'll be seeing it, even though 3D gives me a headache.
"Welcome to the party, pal."
"I am serious... and don't call me Shirley."
"When am I gonna learn how to punch?"
"These go to eleven."
"Benjamin, have you ever been severely beaten about the face & neck?"
"Just keep swimming, swimming, swimming."
"You're gonna need a bigger boat."
"Jessica's got cable."
