Remember when Mission Impossible: Ghost Protocol hit theaters last year and essentially revitalized Tom Cruise's stagnant career along with the MI franchise? Well, it looks like Cruise could be set for another December hit this year when Jack Reacher hits theaters.
The second trailer includes a ton of new footage including glimpses of Werner Herzog, Richard Jenkins and Robert Duvall to go along with plenty of Cruise badassery. Yes, I made up a word to describe the tone of the movie.
The first half of the trailer sets up a murder mystery involving a framed military sniper. Cruise steps in as Reacher, a man bent on finding out the truth even if it means bending the law. The second half finds Cruise barreling through streets, kicking butt and going to any means necessary to save a lawyer partner played by Rosamund Pike.
Based on Lee Child's popular novel One Shot, Jack Reacher hits theaters December 21. Does it look like Cruise has another hit on his resume?
