It’s all about sequels these days, and if you thought Marvel would launch two new franchises this year (Thor and Captain America) without counting on continuing them with new adventures in the coming years, then you don’t know Marvel … or Hollywood. The Avengers will hit theaters in 2012, and Iron Man 3 is already in the works for 2013. So, where does that leave Thor and Captain America?
Thor, Captain America, Fast Five
Fanboy Fix, Captain America
If u really want 2 know,IT 2.
Check out the great news!!!! AVENGERS...ASSEMBLE! [BLOCKED WEBSITE]
i'm sure "Fast Six" will be the final installment of the series that chronologically leads into the events of Tokyo Drift, and having the audience saying, "THAT'S how Dominic got to tokyo!" I hope they change that title though. As for Marvel, i'm already disgruntled that Ant-Man isn't going to be in the Avengers considering his "legendary" status within the team (he was one of the originals even before Captain America came in, Wasp too), and a Edgar Wright-directed movie has been in the works for a long time now. So they should really get on that...especially if they're thinking of an Avengers sequel down the road. Ant-Man and Wasp are pretty pivotal, as Marvel heroes and especially as Avengers.
concerning the next fast furious movie it will be interested to see which heroes from number 5 return in which case the fast furious franchise could collapse if fast five does not make the sales it needs to handle the salary of the actors. if such an event happens we can bet that dominic and paul walkers character will return possible depending on both vin diesel and paul walker. however if thinsg go sour i guess they could use one of the other charcters introduced in the franchise. but what could they do to make the next one work the only thing i could possibly think is something to deal with the oil cartels in the world after they do the 100 million dollar heist from a drug cartel who can say what happens next in the franchise.
well looking forward to the two marvel flix this summer i am not surprised that marvel is working on sequels for the two movies. lets hope they dont kill Loki off in thor and the red skull off in capt america the franchise would collapse if the two key villains get killed by our heroes. i hope with thor they make it more fantasy related rather than modern-fantasy in the first Thor movie. lets also hope that thor hooks up with Sif rather than jane Foster in the next movie especially since Sif is his wife from norse myths. as for capt 2 i look forward to see how the script writers merge the modern day era with steve rogers and i hope they hook black widow up with cap as for hawkeye i look forward to seeing the two become partners in crime
In the next Fantastic Four, its time to introduce The Watcher and The Inhumans. Hopefully the man in the moon won't be a white cloud.
No, no more FF movies. The last one was weak as H-E-double hockey sticks!
Universal is going the same route as the Saw Franchise and i think (at this point) all Universal care about is milking the stupid franchise for what is worth...as long as stupid people watch this stupid movie they will keep making it
Yeah and your right it never made as much money as the FANTASTIC FOUR movies but people were complaining about those movies .That they were done wrong and Dark Knight was so serious and better. But the comics were not done serious as was the movie with the Thing's one liners and Human Torch humor. The movies were done just like the comics and and the comics were great. Evan's as Torch I guess got notice for Cap America? Marvels first family of superheros. The Greatest Comic in the World it was labeled. But I'm glad that FF is getting a reboot I love the FF. I new that a movie that was number one at the box office could not stop with two movies. But a Car chase movie would keep on going , going, and going.
Having been a comic book reader from 1966 to 1993 (when prices drove me away), it seems like Disney is going about this wrong-headed. They seem to be just ticking off the list of Marvel characters at this point - and hoping one of them sticks. Neither Thor or Captain America was on the level of a Spider-Man or X-men - and I don't see the masses turning out in droves for either one of these movies, or the Avengers for that matter. Say hello to the next DAREDEVIL and CATWOMAN disasters, folks.
THOR on the level of Spiderman? Are you crazy! Thor is the God of Thunder and will kick everyones ass! He stood up to Galactus the planet eater and helped the silver Surfer. Stopped the Civil Wars between Marvel supers. Teamed up with the Hulk for AVENGERS and when no one wanted to.He will rock the Box office! He even Kicked Superman's but.
You need to pick up comics again, dude. Thor and Captain America will out sell Green Lantern, that's for sure! How you can say that Thor and Cap aren't on the same level movie-wise as Spidey and the X-Men is beyond me. They will be major sellouts this summer. Just watch!
Please end the stupid "Fast" franchise... One big car chase works for one or maybe two movies but not 6.
There is a franchise coming soon better than all superhero movies... Steven King's Dark Tower!
weres the flash movies LOLOLOLOL im a big flash fan
Apple asked Marvel to replace the flash movies for his worst enemy Mr. H.264!!!! Lol. :)
I understand the need to keep characters alive, but lets see some new stuff. There's tons of great comic book characters out there that can be turned into movies. Not sure if Thor is a great idea though, it doesn't look interesting to me. I think they need to retry the Fantastic 4, and make it dark. Fantastic 4 and Ghost Rider are great comics, but the movies sucked.
Ok I am going to see Fast Five this month but how long can it go on? After awhile you run out of story, characters, cars and such so then what do you do? As far as Marvel, I will have to see. I remember the good times (X-men, Wolverine, Fantastic Four, Iron Man) and the bad times (Daredevil, Elektra).
Daredevil, Elektra and Hulk were three of THE WORST movies made about Marvel characters. Ben Affleck should be subbing for the Aflac insurance duck since his acting is so bad! I'm glad "The Incredible Hulk" came along because that was way better than the first piece of crap that was put out.
you'll never run out of new cars. the movies are high action car porn and as such can continue forever
I like llamas too.
a proper ending for the series, bring back lucas black and end the fast and the furious in the 6th movie.
"Welcome to the party, pal."
"I am serious... and don't call me Shirley."
"When am I gonna learn how to punch?"
"These go to eleven."
"Benjamin, have you ever been severely beaten about the face & neck?"
"Just keep swimming, swimming, swimming."
"You're gonna need a bigger boat."
"Jessica's got cable."
