Perhaps traveling in France has loosened Shia LaBeouf up a little, because while promoting Wall Street: Money Never Sleeps at the 2010 Cannes Film Festival, the actor has been openly sharing his thoughts on how he really feels about both Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen and Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull – both of which have taken a beating from both critics and fans since first arriving in theaters.
Shia LaBeouf, Wall Street 2
He was 1/2 right. Anyone who hires this talentless hack (who not only should change his goofy name but should also learn how to evoke more then one expression) to be in any movie should get out of the business. If he wants to be honest he should just admit the he's the human equivalent of Jar Jar Binks or Chris Tucker, all of whom can single-handedly ruin an otherwise decent flick. Yes we all know the only reason to see Transformers 1 or 2 is Megan Fox for the guys & Josh Duhamel for the gals and that Shia LaBonehead wasn't the only problem with those films. Same goes for Indiana Jones. What were Spielberg & Ford thinking anyway!? The best thing Shia LaBonehead could do for all of us is quit making movies.
he is completely right and it is his opinoin. but he may want to be careful cuz we all saw wut michael bay did wen megan fox insulted him.
Right on, I hate Shia, But I hate Transformers and Indiana Jones 4 more. Those movie were ridiculous, he's off in the fact that he thinks the first Transformers was any good, and that he thinks people cared about his character at all. Although for someone whose made his living being in crappy movies, he has no room to talk, and he probably shouldn't be bashing two power directors like Steven Spielberg and (while I hate to admit it) Michael Bay, especially if Shia wants to keep making a lot of money being in terrible movies.
I hate to say this But i also hated the fourth Indiana Jones movie. it just didnt work. dont get me wrong i like Harrison Ford but that movie didnt need to be made. But to say Steven Spielberg dropped the ball was wrong. guess fame can make people think they have the right to dis directors that help make them stars. As to the Transformers movies 1 was better then 2 hands down. I felt more connected to the characters in one then two. so in a way i have to agree with him on that point only of that movie. . IMHO he wont be as big a star as Harrison ford or Steven Spielberg for that matter. his opions wont make me not go see TF3.
haha if you dont like him, then why the hell are you commenting on this? seriously...you "guys" who are bashing Shia LaBeouf are probably some of the most immature people ive met and ive met a lot of immature people.
LaBeouf is a no talent drug and alcoholic using bum who thinks he's "hot sh.t on a silver platter" but in fact he's only cold diarrhea on a dirty paper plate. Actors are given the opportunity to bring life and depth to the roles they portray. LaBeouf hasn't the experience or the training to make anyone believe anything more than what he is....a very bad actor. LaBeouf will be remembered along side Cage, Lopez, and all those other flash in the pan celebrities (not actors) who bring nothing of worth to the craft and profession of acting. And yes... let's blame the everyone else for the fact that you are a "BAD ACTOR", LaBeouf. Way to take some responsibility.
I haven't seen Tranny2. My anticipation for Indie4 was overpowering even if it was bad. It seems the new school is cryptic if not only rude. Complain! Do better!
Shia knew the scripts when he signed them. He knew the types of movies he was going to make. He then made two movies in which he basically ran around hyperventilating and screaming. The movies are critically panned for many reasons, not the least of which is the one dimensional characters played by Shia. Meanwhile, we Bay and Spielberg fans shell out millions of dollars to watch this dreck. Now, to add insult to injury, Shia pans the movies, insulting us for being so stupid as to watch them. Shia should learn to keep his mouth shut and not bite the hands that feed him. If he wants to be taken seriously, he should not make any more movies where he barks orders at people in authority and runs around like a maniac. Slow down! Woody Allen calls
He's half right. He said no relationships, it doesn't work, its just a bunch of robots fighting each other... The Robots fighting each other was what saved the movie!, the lady that plays his mother helped a lot also..but the twins transforemers, the relationships and overacting was what ruined it, with the help of the writing .. Next time make sure the real star of the movie is not dead for half of it, Prime,, . With regards to Jones 4, everything was sooo bad that its hard to put it all together, with the colossal awful ending.. The first three had something special in it, Arc the action, Temple, the story and characters, and my favorite one, Crusade, the relationship with his father...it should have been "The Last" Crusade for Indy.
Honestly we spend so much time thinking that amazing directors like Steven Spielberg and Michael Bay are so impurvious to making mistakes that we tend to think its the actors faults in movies like Transformers 2 and Indiana Jones 4, when in all actuality sometimes amazing directors like Spielber and Bay are human just like us and can mess up a movie. I think that Shia LaBeouf is entitled to his opinion because that is all it is, people get so upset now a days when another person has a difference of opinion, but hey thats life not everyone is going to agree with certain situations.
I loved him as a child/teen actor, however as an adult, he still needs to make his mark and prove himself with the right kinda movie. The bad and ridiculous parts of both movies were not his fault and I have to say him being in them, assisted to the entertainment value. I don't think a different actor would've made either of those movie any better. We'll have to see. Some of his best work were movies that weren't block busters like that Golfing Star movie he did. It really showed his good acting in that one.
Well, at least he is honest enough to give his real opinions!
He is a no talented bum who is lucky to be getting work at all. Best for him to keep his mouth shut and go with it. He has done no ,vie to prove his own salt when it comes to acting. so Shia, shut up, take it like a man( thats a stretch) and go with it. Your 15 minutes are just about up.
- S. Spielberg
I feel Shia is one of our most promising young actors working today. I didn't feel he was bashing Michael Bay or Steven Spielberg personnally, He was just voicing his opinion, as most everybody does anyway. Transformers was big. I mean, I enjoyed it, but I can see his point. Also Indy 4 I thought was a bad idea from the get go..
I think Shia is right on both accounts!! Transformers 2 wasnt as bad as Indiana Jones 4 though! I mean the Monkey vine swinging is ridiculous!!!---Come on Steven Spielberg your better than that!!!!!!!
He sucks ass! He is a spoiled little no talent beeotch! Both movies did suck, but they would have been a bit better without his jittery, goofy *** in them.
Hells naw. Shia was right on point with both.
