Beginning tomorrow, Chris Tucker will return to the big screen in The Silver Linings Playbook, his first film role in five years and first non-Rush Hour role in fifteen. So what's next for Tucker after Playbook? Perhaps another Rush Hour movie.
Vulture reports that Tucker and co-star Jackie Chan are currently "looking into it. We're trying to get it going, so we're developing something."
He also addressed previous comments by Rush Hour producer Andrew Sarkissian, who suggested that a possibly twist in the franchise could be to have Lee (Jackie) marry Tucker's character's cousin.
"Yeah! I heard that. I don't know what he's talking about. We really want to take it back to the first one, the realness of it, and explore my character a bit more. Everyone wants to do sequels, though."
A decade after it hit theaters, talk of a sequel and a possible TV series for Drumline has picked back up after star Nick Cannon announced via Twitter that he would produce and possibly cameo. Shadow and Act took it a step further reporting that he may even direct.
"I'll probably make a cameo, butI'll mostly be in the background," Cannon told Parade Magazine, letting some plot point slip. "My character was based off the music producer Dallas Austin, and so I think my character will probably be in and out of different episodes, as well as the film, as a very successful music producer that Dr. Lee can call on and say, 'Hey, I was the one who discovered you and got you on the right path.' Whenever he needs a favor, he calls on my chracter. We're trying to bring a lot of the other characters back and we're looking forward to discovering new talent."
If you thought The Last Exorcism's $68 million worldwide gross against a $2 million production budget was going to be the rare exception when Hollywood skipped on a profitable movie, think again. The Last Exorcism Part 2 has been in the works for a while with Eli Roth returning as producer and Ashley Bell reprising her role in the sequel. Today CBS Films picked up the distribution right for the movie, which will arrive in theaters on March 1, 2013.
The first image was also released. Check it out below. Are you up for more Exorcism?
Unlike previous remakes, Texas Chainsaw 3D is being billed as the sequel to the original 1974 horror classic. The sequel is set to tear into theaters on January 4 with Alexandra Daddario leading a cast of young victims actors who take on Leatherface and his chainsaw.
A new clip has landed online, courtesy of Machinima featuring Trey Songz and Tania Raymonde. Check it out below.
