Paul Rudd and Leslie Mann Teaming for 'Knocked Up' Spinoff
Paul Rudd, Judd Apatow, Leslie Mann
Point taken Johnny Knoxville's humor isn't the same comedic caliber as the legendary Three Stooges. In the age of Twitter,My Space,YouTube and Facebook does there "classic" slapstick style translate today. What I meant was Johnny Knoxville playing Moe Howard, performing classic Three Stooges slapstick physical comedy-not Jackass stuff, would work. There is no denying though todays audience still enjoys slapstick style physical comedy which is downloaded and viewed around the world in cyberspace.Knoxville's no Daniel Day Lewis but cut the guy some slack.Hopefully the movie gets made and everyone has a chance to appreciate/discover The Three Stooges all over again.
Rudd and Mann are two of the the top tier names in comedy today...imho of course....they even pull off their roles when stuck with mediocre scripts. This offshoot,if you will, is extremely anticipated by me. Hope that this script realizes that they don't need the degree of vulgarity used in the past...they are hilarious without it.
It's the Three Stooges!!! Get a Grip!!! We're not talking casting Tom Hanks or Sir Anthony Hopkins for goodness sakes! Johnny Knoxville is perfect for Moe Howard, his physical comedy that has made his "Jackass" series and movies so successful owes it's origins to The Three Stooges.Bridging the recognition gap to bring the Stooges story to a new generation via Johnny Knoxville playing Moe makes total sense. His track record at the box office with the Jackass movies may guarantee a 'Built In" audience for the Three Stooges flick that may turn into platinum at the box office and bring the younger generation up to speed on the iconic comedy legends that weren't just Stooges.
so what your saying is slap stick, is the same thing as electrocuting your testicles. Gotcha.
The Three Stooges were classic slapstick comedians. Knoxville is a loser trying to get attention by doing outrageous things for an even dumber audience. No comparison. Classic comedians vs. degenerate bufffoon. No contest.
Johnny Knoxville as one of the three stooges...... Their gonna take a great classic and **** all over it again huh.
wrath of the titans, im looking forward to it becaue i liked the most recent version. i am curious to find out how they make it as a sequel to the original the only thing i can think of is taht ares gest po at zeus and declares war on the gods of olympus. in his effort to be a winner he tracks down hades who we last got swallowed back into abyss by perseus, as for the romance between andromeda and perseus im not to keen on it i would rather see him be in love with the heroine from the first movie. and zeus says i dont want you wondering earth without someone to watch your back something like that. i wonder if they will use the computer tech to develop a minotuar or some other nasty monster from the original. i like to see them jinn again
Clash of the Titans was mediocre crap. You couldn'y pay me to go see the sequel.
But it will be 3D crap!!!
Am looking forward to the Rudd,Mann picture should be good.
"Welcome to the party, pal."
"I am serious... and don't call me Shirley."
"When am I gonna learn how to punch?"
"These go to eleven."
"Benjamin, have you ever been severely beaten about the face & neck?"
"Just keep swimming, swimming, swimming."
"You're gonna need a bigger boat."
"Jessica's got cable."
