With less than a week to go before The Twilight Saga: Eclipse finally lands in theaters, it's now time for the marketing machine to pull out all the stops. And when I say all the stops, I mean they're actually trying to find a way to now convince fans that Robert Pattinson is in some way related to the real-life Dracula. In other words, Pattinson and his vampire character Edward are one in the same!
Twilight, Eclipse, Robert Pattinson
" Then again, after making a total of 5 Twilight films,......." FIVE? Since when? 3 books plus a novella......Unless they have split up Eclipse to cover all of the story.. Where do you get 5?
OK Breaking Dawn in two parts makes since. Sorry got lost for a moment.
There are four books and the last one, Breaking Dawn, is going to be made into 2 movies.
I don't think they'll make "The Short Second Life of Bree Tanner" into a movie, although it would have been pretty cool if it had been available to the screenwriters of Eclipse so they could have worked parts of it into the movie. It really gives you a better look at the hidden agenda of the Volturi and makes you really like Bree a lot.
Stephenie gave a copy to the actress playing Bree and then she burned it, literally. But I think after making all those xmen movies they can make a wolverine film then why not a "life of bree" via the twilight saga?
the novella from my understanding is story-lined into eclipse because you dont just see bree in the field w/ bella
2: New Moon
4 and 5: Breaking Dawn will be broke up into 2 movies
Because there are 4 books and one Novella. And with as much money as they are making with these films you know they are gonna make all 5 into movies. Then again with the 4th book (breaking dawn) being so long there are rumors of it being made into 2 movies itself which could give us possibvly 6 movies in the end. Rob P. is already 24 yr old though so it's gonna be rough for him to keep playing 17.
The Twilight Saga is doing fine all on it's own, as far as popularity goes. It doesn't need anyone nor any business trying to tie in any added extra nonsense to hype it up. People and Fans will flock to see these Sagas irregardless..
I don't care if he is Vlad's long lost brothers sisters, cousins, roommates, acquaintance.... all I care if that he keep being hot!! Not much of a fan of the series myself, but it is nice to have a hotty splattered across my screen, the billboards, the tele and the movie theaters (plus anywhere else) to drool at. And like it or not his bad boy, distant heart, lost puppy persona makes many of us otherwise mentally stable women (and girls) swoon like freaks!
So be Valds crazy connected "probable" cousin or not, I am still digging on you ;)
tresdj, this is what I have to say to you: WORD!
Thank You ;)
I couldnt have put it better myself. The way he is and the way he loves bella just makes him simply irresistible. I gotta get me some of that. My dude need to take some notes because if Robert comes my way i am most def gonna claim single lol
Oh, I made my husband aware...long ago, if certian men were to show interest in me, I would HAVE to take it....lol... since they are all famous and hunky I doubt I would ever meet them and if I did the probabilty of their interest in me is zero. So he's pretty safe... and I still get to see them in my dreams and pant infront of the screen while they wander around making hot... not a good enough description :)
HES A FICTIONAL CHARACTER, not a real vampire. anyways Twilight is horrible, its all just a cliche, vampires vs werewolves vs other vampires, the dark brooding hopeless romantic 100 yr old vampire, finds true love in an underage socially awkward angst ridden high school student. Someone that understands him ooooh it makes me feel so g...zzzzZZZZZzzz. sorry dozed off there, and then there is the "Vampire werewolf human love triangle." BORING I have heard better dialogue in Bruce Campbell flicks. (which I love his movies and TV)
Usually when you are making a negative comparison, you would use an equivocal or even juvenile example rather then degrade a beloved movie maker. Your message would have been well supported if, perhaps, you used Teletubbies. Unfortunately everything is cliche now, even the use of the word cliche is... well, cliche. Instead of whining about how things do not meet your standards and essentially dissing the folks who are enthralled in it, maybe you could just close the page. Go to a Bruce Campbell fansite and rave about his movies and post your complaints about the Twilight series. I am certain your remarks would be embraced there and would not target the majority of readers, as tasteless and unintelligent.
Get over yourself and your hot teeny bopper vampire, the internet was designed as a free speech tool and I will post whatever I like on the web. If I want to anonymously slander an actor of low caliber and a story that is played way to much then it is my right to post it in what ever forum I choose. If you actually read my comments I give reasons for my opinion and oly a fool would do otherwise. In a site designed for giving your opinion about a movie or an actor, i am only using the site for its intended use. Now the only standards I have is dialogue and how the actors portray that script. If you cant act worth a damn stay out of movies. No offense to fans of the book. Literature is awesome, movies based off lit not so much.
ROBERT PATTINSON = TELTUBBIES
It's spelled Teletubbies .... lol
I was NOT suggesting you were not allowed to speak your mind. Just pointing out the simple fact that posting such things will inevitably cause friction with the fans. It would be nice if you applied your free speech spiel to our comments, while taking some of your own advice. I did not degrade your views or diminish your opinions. While you have chosen to use your "freedom" to offend and debase others I only wanted to suggest you reconsider .
~ Even though you detest Mr.Pattinson you have taken the time to read this article and more over the comments, returning to lament your "dislike" .... Movies are subjective and as such having a wide array of movie actors, script, directors, etc is necessary to accommodate the varied tastes. ttys ;)
And yet despite all of this ... Robert Pattinson is still smokin' hot. The original point was not whether he could act or not; the point was his hotness, which I can still confirm. Anyone who compares him to Teletubbies (really?) must surely be blind, LOL!
The hotness is that little jacob kid now there is a handsome individual taylor somethin or other. second off if hotness was the original issuehe look like the old skool frankenstein monster. Now tresj before you get all hes the hotness keep in mind that even the bride thought the monster was hot. but seriously have a side by side comparison. If I offend anyone by saying that oh well.
PS (ha i am using post scrip for a digital medium) I like to complain but I do it for fun. But he is butt ugly and he looks like he doesnt bathe.
Would you be interested in posting your pic against his for that side by side?? lol ..... again I note that it is subjective ... hot to me, hot to her, hot to him, not hot to you; all semantics ... options, well, you know what they say. Everyone has one. (which technically and medically is untrue but none the less the analogy fits well) ... I had no idea that your response was all in fun, it seemed defensive as such I tried to respond open mindedly while still voicing my concerns. I hope you will be able to understand that there is not any good to come of jabbing at peoples likes and dislikes when they do not align with yours.... Perhaps you could join the movement for a sarcasm font... I have been advocating it for years ;)
"Welcome to the party, pal."
"I am serious... and don't call me Shirley."
"When am I gonna learn how to punch?"
"These go to eleven."
"Benjamin, have you ever been severely beaten about the face & neck?"
"Just keep swimming, swimming, swimming."
"You're gonna need a bigger boat."
"Jessica's got cable."
