Muggles, a new set of nine Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part I images have just hit the web! You can check them out below and head to the gallery for the rest. Also, we'll have more updates for you soon, including a soon-to-launch Harry Potter fan site where you can check out all things Harry, such as interviews and set visit reports--we swear on a bottle of Veritaserum. It'll mark the beginning of the end for the magical franchise, which Warner Bros. is also preparing for. You can see Hogwarts burning on the WB site, sort of a beautiful bummer, in my opinion. What do you think of the new images, and how do you feel as we're coming close to the end?
Ginny (Bonnie Wright) and Harry (Daniel Radcliffe) share an intimate moment.
Draco (Tom Felton), Lucius Malfoy (Jason Isaacs), Bellatrix Lestrange (Helena Bonham Carter) and other Death Eaters gather for their Lord.
Harry (Daniel Radcliffe) releases his owl Hedwig.
Harry (Daniel Radcliffe) and Hermione (Emma Watson) find a copy of Rita Skeeter's The Life and Lies of Albus Dumbledore.

They've been making stupid ommisions since movie three. It looks like they've ruined the last movie too. *sigh* Pity. I'm not even sure I'll make it out of the theater before I start fuming this time. Maybe I should just wait until it comes out so I can hit pause and yell at the screen without missing dialogue?
i might have to do the same thing. they keep on messing up the movies so anyone who hasnt read the book gets reeled in to believing that the movie is just like the book and then they wont read the amazing novels!!!! it makes me so mad!!!
um but hedwig dies in the book
Silly dork. Whenever he sends a message with Hedwig, he has to release her.
I am aware of all that you are mentioning although I was trying to avoid spoilers for the non-readers. My point is that I am foreseeing a discrepancy right at the beginning that is, in my opinion, completely unacceptable if you are doing a movie based on the book. Some idiot also thought it was a good idea to burn down the Burrow in the last one. There was plenty in that book that they could have included - to bring in a new bit of story at the expense of the actual story was not cool.
OK, I'm nervous now. Why is he releasing Hedwig?
i suspect that he is releasing Hedwig to prevent a fate deemed for her in the book, if you read the book you'll know what i mean but if not then you should read the book.
I hope this movie continues the legacy that it's predecessors have left. If it does this will be a blockbuster to remember for quiet a long time. Usually when a franchise gets closer and closer to it's end, the creators tend to get lazy, I hope that is not the case for Harry Potter and I look forward to Deathly Hollows Part 1.
Oh I definitely don't think they'll be getting lazy for the last two parts. They know how huge this is for the fans, and it seems they've only been improving with each movie! As the fans have grown up, the story has gotten darker and more mature, and i think the filmmakers are doing ok in conveying that on screen. can't waaaaaaaiiiiit!
"Welcome to the party, pal."
"I am serious... and don't call me Shirley."
"When am I gonna learn how to punch?"
"These go to eleven."
"Benjamin, have you ever been severely beaten about the face & neck?"
"Just keep swimming, swimming, swimming."
"You're gonna need a bigger boat."
"Jessica's got cable."
