From Lizerne Guiting: Wrist-slittings, hangings and relentless fear of the unknown… the new I-can’t-peel-my-peepers-off-it red band trailer and international poster for The Happening makes the most of M. Night Shyamalan’s first R-rating.
The hair-raising, age-restricted trailer for the film, which opens June 13 and stars Mark Wahlberg, Zooey Deschanel and John Leguizamo, is just as long as the regular one, but with a much higher body count. It’s a bit of a spoiler in my opinion, so if you’d rather be surprised in the theater… eh, scratch that. Watch the trailer.
