I’m not sure if kids even have sleepovers anymore, and if they do whether they still play games like “Truth or Dare” and “7 Minutes in Heaven” – the latter of which involves two unsuspecting teens (or pre-teens) randomly picked to go into a darkened closet together for seven minutes and … do things? The most memorable on-screen moment involving “7 Minutes of Heaven” can probably be found in the film Teen Wolf, when Michael J. Fox gets all awkward wolfy on his friend Boof, clawing her back and slicing up the poor girl’s shirt.
If J.J. Abrams doesn't like the idea enough to direct it himself, I wonder how good it really is.
im only 15 and of course ive heard of 7 minutes in heaven. I never thought of it as a thriller but it sounds like a good idea plus abrams is making it so it has so much potential
Not familiar with either game...'yet they do sound pretty interesting enough to do a movie from with Director JJ Abrams twist to it howbeit it's quite a creepy-twist and for sure a strong storyline. Sounds frightening, mysterious and wouldn't mind checking it once it's release. But for sure STAR TREK II and SUPER 8 is high on my watch Movie(s) list but that's quite sometime from now.
I think the 30 something crowd would go see this to reminisce about childhood. I remember playing this game as a kid. I will not admit though what happened in the closet. Does not matter though, I love anything JJ Abrams does.
"I love you, a Barney tale"... that's pretty funny man!
Abram = Win no matter what so It doesn't matter if the movie is called "I love you, a Barney tale" if it's JJ Abram, it's gonna rock.
What would really be great is that after 7 mins, they come out and find everyone gone.
Well I can see this movie not really amounting to much, but who am I to say anything? I watch everything.
"Welcome to the party, pal."
"I am serious... and don't call me Shirley."
"When am I gonna learn how to punch?"
"These go to eleven."
"Benjamin, have you ever been severely beaten about the face & neck?"
"Just keep swimming, swimming, swimming."
"You're gonna need a bigger boat."
"Jessica's got cable."
