Jessica Alba to Star in 'Spy Kids 4'

Perhaps because she’s a new mom, or because she wants to venture into new territory, Jessica Alba has decided to get her “kid” on in Spy Kids 4, which, like the previous installment, director Robert Rodriguez will bring to us in 3D.

Alba is no stranger to Rodriguez films having also starred in Sin City and the upcoming Machete, but this one is obviously a bit different. Here, rather than continue where the last Spy Kids left off (because those kids aren’t kids anymore), Rodriguez plans to sort of reboot the franchise by making Alba a mom to two preteens and a former spy who is reactivated. Those two preteen children will become the new Spy Kids, though they haven’t been cast yet and will most likely be relative unknowns considering the film’s modest $30 million budget.
 
Do you think Jessica Alba can revitalize her career by doing a kids’ movie, or not so much?

    Absolutely - revitalize away! I think she'll be a draw for Spy Kids - bringing in an audience that may not have been 'Kids crazed fans to begin with...

    Not so much. I like her, She is hot, and has been decent to good in every movie I've seen her in, but spy kids is not more of a career starter, more like a career-ender.
