Now that Avatar has become the biggest film of all time (in terms of box office dollars), I’m sure a lot of folks are wondering what director James Cameron plans to do next. Will he tackle Avatar 2? Will he direct a movie about the bombing of Hiroshima? Will he build a spaceship, move to Mars and film the entire thing in 3D?
Avatar, James Cameron, 3-D
I'm glad this has already been debunked... Why on earth would a TOP talent like Cameron.. Straight off a major hit... BOTHER with a project like this?? A project better suited for an aspiring College arts major... Although I am very much looking forward to JC's sequel.. I certainly don't want it rushed... Tossing together a script, just to grab onto the coat tails of the origional.. Not JC's style either... There's plenty of "in the wings" movies that he could easily sign on to.. Wonder what he'd do with the Hobbit?
Not if Fergie pees her pants again.
Gentlemen! Start your meh-ngines!
This would be the perfect combination, of overrated format, overated director and overated band. And honestly, you do not need an a-list Hollywood director for a good concert film. I dare say Scorsese's passion for music made The Last Waltz great, and to a lesser degree Shine a Light, not his cinematic expertise.
I wish he would "build a spaceship, move to Mars...".
FERGIE YES!!! But much rather see Avatar 2 or something else entirely!! Black Eyes Peas are cool, but come on you can only do so much with a concert, and a tour!!!! Avatar Saga would be SOOO much more interesting to see.
I think that James Cameron should continue with his Avatar Saga! Avatar is my favorite movie and I don't think he should be wasting his time on a 3D Concert. No one goes to concert movies, the entire point of the concert is to see the group live! Well if you're not seeing them live, you may as well just watch the music video!
wtf? Black Eyed Peas suck. Concert films not directed by Scorsese suck. Why would I watch this? It can't be true
O god stop wit the 3D it gets ridiculous when they start making concerts 3D. All 3D means is your gonna have to pay 5 - 10 dollars more to see a movie, it's not gonna be different, more immersive, or higher quality, and at the end of the day you won't remember how great the 3D was, you'll remember how great the movie was, please stop hollywood, it's getting annoying.
I totaly agree with you. I just got back from the theatre and saw two movies... The Trailors before both.. had NOTHING BUT 3D.. "coming soon".. crap.. They just lost me from their paying customers... I certainly hope the DVD's come out in 2D or I'll not see anything.. An occasional "Special Feature".. is fine and interesting.. but tasking over the market and FORCING us to see everything in 3D. [at a conciderably higher price].. is just about marketing.. Half a theatre @ $15. is better than 2/4 @ $11. But with more dissatisfied viewers.. If it's not done perfectly.. it suffers.. A near great movie will only be remembered for the terrible 3D.
Geez.. We need a spellchecker.. LOL.. I certainly do...
ok.. Taking over..... and 3/4 @
Wow...I really need more coffee this morning, my spelling abilities are out the window this morning!!! Lets try this again....lol...
Would not go to see it...waste of James Camerons time and talent.....
Would not got see it...wait of James Camerons time and talent.
Let me type that again...would NOT GO see it...
Will.i.Am is a good singer (not very impressed with his acting in Wolverine) and can't really see one of the biggest directors on the planet directing a concert movie but hey, I don't think anybody should question Cameron's ways because he has yet to fail when it comes to movies so I'm sure whatever he decides to do will be amazing.
WILL I AM IS A ******* IDIOT MY *** YOU STUCK UP MOTHER RAPER
G-O T-O H-E-L-L
I feel that this isn't a great move for Cameron, there are many better idea's out there than doing a concert on a band that has really lost it's interest anyway..
Jonas Brothers what a bad idea that was, yeah it made some money but it wasn't something to be proud of.
just something to make tweenage girls lose there parents money
The Black eyed peas aren't as popular as the Jonas Brothers..
I feel this is a really iffy move for any director..
Cameron would best put his efforts into avatar2. where the corp comes to take the plant back.have some epic battles with some kind of big suprise ending relating to the life force of the planet. they would have 6 years to prep for battle till the corp could return in force.
Who the hell are the black eyed peas, and fergie aint that good looking without a ton of makeup
I think 3D films are over rated. You have to have just the right seat in the theater to make it worth while... Black Eyed who? (haha)
Fergie in my face....YES!
LOL two guys with two big heads working together, I'm sure it will be great and I'll pay for that over-priced BS, NOT!!!
Black Eyed Peas is one of the worst live bands I have ever heard. They are painful to listen to. I have heard them on numerous television shows where they don't have the benefits of editing and a top notch recording studio behind them and it blows my mind that people keep buying albums to support a band with really little talent. Will I am also needs to have a little more humility in the statement we are the biggest group in the world, which is far from the truth. Hopefully, that statement is not true.
Just like any other concert film, it would depend on the artist.
"Welcome to the party, pal."
"I am serious... and don't call me Shirley."
"When am I gonna learn how to punch?"
"These go to eleven."
"Benjamin, have you ever been severely beaten about the face & neck?"
"Just keep swimming, swimming, swimming."
"You're gonna need a bigger boat."
"Jessica's got cable."
