Hugh Jackman, Bryan Singer, X-Men, The Wolverine
The Days of Future Past storyline in the comic was set in an alternate timeline, so they could have any number of X-Men pop-up, and not mess up more what they did in the 3rd movie. I'd like to see Bishop, Cable and Psylocke make an apperence in the future scenes as X-men. And bring back the dude who played Colossus, cause in the book He and Kitty are married in that future. I got a lot of great ideas to add, and it would be cool if they stuck more to the books this time. nuff said
@ Sean O'Connell (writer of the article),...Bryan Singer did not do an X-men "Trilogy" as stated in your article! Only X-Men 1 & 2 were done by Bryan Singer, as he stepped away unwilling to finish what he started, to do that awful rendition of 'Superman Returns'! The 3rd installment was done by Brett Ratner! I can't necessarily say that Bryan Singer returning to a franchise he willfully chose to abandon is good news,...nor that he would be welcome back by fandom after his direction on Superman Returns! Matthew Vaughn set the bar high in directing X-Men: First Class,...and I for one would much rather see him return to the franchise for a second installment, than Bryan Singer return for a third!
Introducing the time travel element means they could actually save X-Men 3 and have the "Jean" who was killed in X3 have been Madelyne Pryor and Jean and Scott actually in the future as "Slim" and "Red", leading into an Apocalypse storyline and introducing Nathan Summers, the Askani'son. Which is the angle I thought they were going to go all along.
Just remember, we already have one movie (about to become two) all about his character. Hopefully he can share the screen and not be the focal point of the movie.
No other way to do it, imo. Gotta get Jack to sign, but not for just a cameo this time. Logan is too crucial to the storyline. Screwing with that element is just going to screw up the plot.
"Welcome to the party, pal."
"I am serious... and don't call me Shirley."
"When am I gonna learn how to punch?"
"These go to eleven."
"Benjamin, have you ever been severely beaten about the face & neck?"
"Just keep swimming, swimming, swimming."
"You're gonna need a bigger boat."
"Jessica's got cable."
