Only a few days after Deadline Hollywood reported that it was a done deal and Summit Entertainment would be filming The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn in two parts comes word that none of the main actors (Kristen Stewart, Robert Pattinson, Taylor Lautner) have signed on to a fifth film, and the studio is not yet ready to make a decision on whether or not they'll be splitting up the final installment in the Twilight franchise.
Taylor Lautner, Robert Pattinson, Kristen Stewart, Breaking Dawn
Definitely two movies!
This novel was terrible. They shouldn't even bother making it into one film, let alone two.
WHAT!!!!! Are you crazy!!!!!!!!!!! All of the books were good just look at how many were sold
I'm sorry but if Summit makes Breaking Dawn into 1 movie I will NOT go see it. Because there is too much of the story that they would miss if they made it 1 move.
Oh, no doubt about it, two films. One would way too short and wouldn't meet the fan's...desire? And 3D? *coughhorribleideacough* The extra film would also kill every other movie in the box office, because every decent Twilight fan would go.
First of all, 3D? In a word: LAME.
Next, I personally would risk my *** going numb to sit thru a 3 or 4 hour Breaking Dawn. I agree that they can NOT fit all the important details of BD into a 2-2 1/2 hour film. But I really don't want to see half of BD and then have to wait another 9 months for the 2nd half. I know a 3 -4 hour film is highly unlikely, but I think that would be the best way to do it. Plus, the studio wouldn't have to go into contract negotiations with everyone *grin*
I want the wedding. I want the honeymoon. I want the heartbreaking convo between Edward & Jacob about Bella's pregnancy. I want it all. And sitting for 3-4 hours would be a small price to pay.
I wouldn't mind even 5 hrs.LOL.
lmao, even better!
Split the book into two movies it would be better detailed and would make them way more money that way.
i say do it like the book and dont leave important things out this time like you did in new moon. when jacob hears edward telling bella that he wants to marry her he was supposed to have heard that with his wolf ears and should have howled in the background. there was other parts missing too! there is so much that isn't put in the movie that you miss. i have read the breaking dawn book 4 times. i hope they do it justice, because in my opinion that was the best book out of the bunch. meyers really put her heart into that one i really wish that there was another book about renesmee and what happens to her and jacob........... please tell me there is going to be more?? something else has to happen what happens to the other one like renesemee?
I completely agree. There was a lot of Jacob's pain that was completely over looked at the end of the NM film. I liked the movie, but was pretty disappointed with the little, yet important details that were left out.
breaking dawn was terrible. it was by far the worst of the series
Umm..Jacob doesn't hear Edward talking to Bella about the marriage until Eclipse-in the tent. In that final scene in New Moon, Jacob wasn't even there-he had already ran off. This was only the first of several times Edward talks about marriage-remember-and Bella blows it off each time until that night in Edward's bedroom when she finally says yes. But yes, definitely there are so many parts they leave out..I think 2 movies would be perfect so they can give the wedding/honeymoon the beauty & justice it deserves!! Stephanie has said that she has not shut the door on Forks yet..she has no plans at the moment but she is not entirely opposed to continuing the story at some point..and oh what a story that would be!! Keep your fingers crossed :-)
Amen Sister...And they change things that don't need to be changed!!! If it's not broke DON'T fix it!!!!
Two!!! What else can the answer be? The saga is coming to an end so fast while Twilight followers like myself are hungry for more. Breaking Dawn has so much going on that it would work and putting more of the book in the movies would be a bonus.
isnt the part of Jacob overhearing the marrying part happen in a tent on a mountain and yes he howls in the background because Edward new Jacob was listening... in Eclipse....not new moon.
There is just way way too much happening in Breaking Dawn to make just one movie. In order to do the book justice, I really feel it needs to be broken into 2 productions. The book is great and in order to capture the true scope of the book, in my opinion, it will take longer than 2 hours. Make 2 movies!!
I totaly agree with you, they need to make it in to 2 movies in order to get the fill from tthe books, and they should also pay the actors more for the second half of breaking dawn.
MAKE TWO MOVIES! MAKE TWO MOVIES! IT WILL BE SO MUCH BETTER THAT WAY!!! All the movies feel like they move so fast even though they are like over 2 hours. It would be wonderful for them to draw it out, put more of the books content in the movie, and help us to savor ever morsel! WONDERFUL!!!
Should be every morsel! LOL
DEFINITELY AGREE!! I'd happily watch multiple and long (movies) if they get more of the book into the movies.
they definitely need more than 2 hours to get all the details of the books...I was so upset finishing the last page of breaking dawn knowing that there was nothing left of the saga. So for me the more screen time the better.
hopefully the author will rewrite her 5th book and release it to her fans. She had been working on the 5th book until the manuscript was leaked online. I am crossing my fingers for her to redo the book and publish it soon.
The movie freak
I think that they should split it. We need the actors because that makes the movie as much as the stephenie meyers words. There is so much that they can put in those movies. I personally think that they should of make eclipse and breaking dawn as two movies each. so we would have four more to see instead of maybe only three....
