Bryce Dallas Howard, The Help
2011 Summer Movies
Emma Stone. She shows great promise and has, for an actress just starting out, already displayed a talent for very diverse roles.
My favorite has to be Skeeter, played by Emma Stone. She was strong, courageous and an absolute hoot! She chose to expose all of her friends for the frauds they were, especially Hilly! I love, loved the book and movie!!
I just love any character Emma Stone plays!
Octavia Spencer did a phenomenal job in the role of Minny. I loved the strength, honesty and incredible humor she brought to the role, and she had me laughing more than any other character in the movie. GREAT FILM.
i have really grown to like Bryce Dallas Howard, each performance is better than the last..she is constantly growing and becoming better...i'm always happy to see her stepping into new and challenging roles..
Allison Janney. She is smart, funny and proof that tall girls can be both of those!
Sissy Spacek as Missus Walters. She was hilarious in this role. What a wonderful actress.
Viola Davis is just awesome! Everything I've seen her in she's hit it ou of the park. She's a truly talented actress.
havent seen it yet but will soon!! read the book.
I can't wait to see the movie!
LOVE LOVE LOV Emma Stone!!! AMAZING!!!!
I just love Emma Stone! Watching her grow as an actress in more serious roles has been a joy! I can't wait to see what she does next!
Sissy Spacek, what's not to love. She is a timeless classic. I feel that I could relate to her character and it makes it easier to relate to the movie when you understand the characters. I have not read the book, yet, but look forward to putting on my reading list. I might even move it up on the list, as I am anxious to read it now.
Emma Stone of course! She's a great actress for such a young age, love her!
So hard to pick just one!! I love Allison Janney for the style and manner she approaches each of her roles!!
Viola Davis... because she is courageous :-D
My favorite actress from the movie would have to be Emma Stone. She was able to bring a voice to all the woman who were considered 'others'(the help). Without her, the book would not have been able to be published. Its also important to point out that she definitely has great character for not following the band wagon and being racist towards the help.
I agree, Viola Davis, is a great actress.. WE need to see her in more roles.
Bryce Dallas Howard becasue she is stepping out of her fathers shadow.
My favorite actress is Emma Stone because she's adorable and funny!
Definitely Emma Stone. She is so funny.
Emma Hawly, she just seems very real and not your typical young hollywood actess.
Oops, I meant Emma Stone. :)
Alison Janey, I've loved her since she was on The West Wing. She is also extremely funny when she goes on the Ellen show.
"Welcome to the party, pal."
"I am serious... and don't call me Shirley."
"When am I gonna learn how to punch?"
"These go to eleven."
"Benjamin, have you ever been severely beaten about the face & neck?"
"Just keep swimming, swimming, swimming."
"You're gonna need a bigger boat."
"Jessica's got cable."
