Monsters sucked, so i'm not expecting a lot from this director in this Godzilla movie
Godzilla 1998 was a GREAT movie!! Take it from there! NO MORE REBOOTS!!
I say kill off the idea of Godzilla. Too many remakes. There has been to many versions of the film. There is no reason to redo the film. Kinda like what Peter Jackson did with King Kong. Not necessary!
After seeing the latest Resident Evil movie, I wouldn't mind watching Godzilla step on Paul Wes Anderson.
I'm a HUGE Godzilla fan and I have one thing to say...DON'T F*CK THIS UP!!!!! Remember Godzilla
1998? Let's try to avoid doing something stupid like that!
I want no Pop Stars starring in or singing for it.
So the script is being written by one of the best, David S. Goyer, and one of the worst, David Callaham, writers out there right now. This could really go either way.
It could look cool in 3d, but 1998 Godzilla wasn't that good.
No way am i seeing that
OMG! I can't wait to see a reboot of my childhood monster GODZILLA! This would definitely be the perfect movie for CGI and 3-D effect. I remember back in the days the visual effects crew was amazing in trying to similate the moves, looks and backgrounds in the movie. Sometimes the final edit version of the movie was awesome, but sometimes you could just simply see the mistakes. I however enjoyed the way the creative mind worked with GODZILLA. Now computer graphics, CGI, etc is so advance I can't wait to see how the new GODZILLA will look. I can't wait! (My thoughts I enjoyed all GODZILLA movies made by the Japanese, as well as the 1998 version.)
I don't really understand why everybody puts down the Godzilla 1998 movie. I enjoyed it very much, certainly MUCH more than those cheesy Japanese versions.
Yes. I have been anxious to see this CGI effects American GODZILLA movie since I read about it several years ago. TOHO Inc has given approval. It will not be the flat head Godzilla we saw in 1998. Was hoping for it to be released in 2012, but they held off until 2014 for the 60th Anniversary of Godzilla.
"Welcome to the party, pal."
"I am serious... and don't call me Shirley."
"When am I gonna learn how to punch?"
"These go to eleven."
"Benjamin, have you ever been severely beaten about the face & neck?"
"Just keep swimming, swimming, swimming."
"You're gonna need a bigger boat."
"Jessica's got cable."
