Coinciding with the DVD release of quite possibly the year's scariest movie, here's a fun and easy giveaway for ya. All you need to do is write in and tell us: What do you think is the scariest movie of all time? Winner will be selected at random Jan. 15 and notified by email.
Here's what you can win: the Paranormal Activity "scare kit" pictured here. Inside the barrel sling duffel bag comes a Ouija board, planchette, baby powder and satin sleep mask -- everything you'd need for a paranormal slumber party. But take a lesson from the kids in the movie...be careful how you use it.
Honestly it is Paranormal Activity tied with Signs and Poltergeist
I say the original exorcist or poltergeist.
Stephen King's "It".
"They all float"
texas chainsaw massacre (the original)
OoO. The Shining and The Ring are REALLY good ones! my mind is going completely blank when trying to think of scary movies! bleh!
out of all the scariest movies i've ever seen.. the one that actually got to me and disturbed me afterward was Stephen King's Rose Red. It's really hard to choose though. i mean if i think about the best scary movie it's downright got to be The Exorcist. but as for the scariest scary movie ever it's extremely difficult to choose. so many come to mind and the ones i know are super scary i can't even remember the names of at the moment. Rose Red wins simply because i remembered it first & it truly was a good scary movie. I still remember watching it on television as a two day deal & it was so scary for me! weird because i've seen billions of scary movies & rarely do i find one that actually freaks me out.
I think that the Scariest Movie Of All Time I would have to say is Salem's Lot by Stephen King. Check it out on DVD especially the scene where the little boy vampire comes scratching at the window. A classic vampire tale!
Nightmare on Elm Street
1.Made for TV ABC/NBC metor film. Can't recall the name. It was shot as a fake docu of just News Reporters, this was about 10 or more years ago. No actors that were known. Just reporters interviewing folks that witnessed these odd metors and how it affected. Later the Military employed that they were comeing from one point. They fired at the point.
The Movie ended with a CELEBRATION in the main attack room and our missles hit.
BUT, the room feel silent and the camera whips to the monitor as there are hundreds and thousands of metors (THEIR MISSLES) coming at us. Then it ended.
The Day After

"You're gonna need a bigger boat."
