I love " I can do bad all by myself" I can relate to April and Jennifer....I was 16 years old when I was living on the streets because no one wanted me and I can relate to April because I have always felt like I did not matter, and would choose bad men or drinking or whatever to not feel the pain of my past. I have watched this movie at least 50 times. I learned a lot and am now in School to become a nurse at the age of 43 I still struggle but I am going to make it. This is my favorite since I have to choose only one however I love ALL of Mr. Perry's movies they all inspire me to be better and do better....

Madea's Family Reunion, although it is very difficult to pick a favorite. Tyler Perry succeeds in dealing with genuine (and oft neglected) issues while still keeping humor and hope alive. The man is a genius.

I have not seen a bad Tyler Perry movie, they don't exist. My favorite of of these movies is "I Can Do Bad All By Myself." Not only do the songs done by Mary J Blige and Gladys Knight knock it out of the park, but the acting is so well done. The film deals with the unexpected in life and learning to rise to the challenges at hand. We also see the importance of family, self worth, responsibility and the chance encounter of unexpected love. Love for family and for that special person. The God aspect is vividly brought forth in more than one place. Madea's theology is as hilarious as it is disturbing. Marvin Winans was right on, in his pulpit delivery. God's love is a major player in this portrayal of a women without hope or dreams.

OMG, where do I begin!!? There are so many TP that I love, including "For Colored Girls". I would have to say my all time favorite is "Why Did I Get Married", The cast was great as well as the story lines, the acting was very believable- great comedy and drama, and my favorite singer- Jill Scott was in it and did an excellent job! I love how Tyler shows range by casting a variety of people in his movies, but also continues to use actors that have great talent, including himself! Good Deeds appears to have potential to be on my top five TP movies as well. Can't wait to check it out! Thanks for sharing you gifts with the world Tyler! God bless!

""Why did I get married," is definitely my overall favorite move ...the movie has consensual and contractual relationships recognized with topics that include divorce, infidelity, sex and finances. A true satire because of how often the use of wit; irony, sarcasm, and ridicule are graspable within the bounds of the movie. The movie, combines criticism of faults within each couple that bring to the audience both laughter and a feeling of misery and hopelessness that sometimes seems far reached and perplexing. Each couple have there own breakdown in communication that surrounds their individual and collective marital problems... a very heart felt movie that seems to tell everyone in the audience something that they may have experienced as being a part of their own life. I feel this movie is a must see for anyone married or thinking about getting married because of the movie insightful answers to questions about love, adultery, marriage counseling, and love.
"Welcome to the party, pal."
"I am serious... and don't call me Shirley."
"When am I gonna learn how to punch?"
"These go to eleven."
"Benjamin, have you ever been severely beaten about the face & neck?"
"Just keep swimming, swimming, swimming."
"You're gonna need a bigger boat."
"Jessica's got cable."
"Squirrel!"
