First Trailer for Clint Eastwood’s 'J. Edgar' Arrives

Looking every bit the Oscar-contender it was hyped up to be, the first trailer for Clint Eastwood’s biopic on infamous lawman J. Edgar Hoover has arrived. Leonardo DiCaprio plays the role of Hoover with Armie Hammer as his number two man, Clyde Tolson and Naomi Watts as his secretary, Helen Gandy.

Much like The Aviator arced through the life of Howard Hughes, J. Edgar tracks Hoover’s life as the preeminent face of law enforcement, with the secrets that led to the demise of his career, image and life unraveling before us.
 
Check out the trailer, which debuted yesterday on Apple and let us know what you think. J. Edgar arrives in theaters December 16th.

    Intense Historical scenes and OSCAR worthy performances. Actor Leonardo DiCaprio certainly captivates as J. Edgar HOOVER. Wow!!
