Final 'Eclipse' Trailer Due This Friday

Though the film isn't due in theaters until June 30th, for some reason Summit Entertainment is releasing the final trailer for The Twilight Saga: Eclipse this Friday on the Oprah show. The news came via Summit's Twitter feed, where they tweeted the following on April 16th: "Next Friday 4/23, watch Oprah for the exclusive debut of the FINAL #EclipseTrailer!"

There's no word on when that trailer will also arrive online, though one imagines they'll sync it up so that the trailer hits television and the internet at the same time. Fans also might want to know that in a second tweet, Summit added the following: "And visit our social networks after to chat live with surprise guests from the cast! More details to come..."
 
So it looks like Summit is planning something pretty big for April 23rd – complete with a trailer on Oprah and special cast appearances across their social networking sites. I also wouldn't be surprised to see some Twilight stars show up on Oprah's couch, too. Still surprised this will be the last trailer with over two months to go before release, though I suppose they'll use that time to release a whole bunch of clips and TV spots instead.

    Yay Eclipse trailer! Its been too long.....although I kinda wish it would appear on something else instead of Oprah. I mean, what Twi-hards watch Oprah in their spare time? Nothing against her, of course, just sayin...
