Christian Bale Says 'The Dark Knight Rises' Is His Final Batman
Christian Bale, Christopher Nolan, Batman, Mark Wahlberg, Neill Blomkamp, Batman 3
The problem is Dracoa is fighting with everyone as well. They didn't give a reaso why the film sucked or anything they came in to antagonize people. I wasn't a big batman fan going into batman begins but it really drew me in and the dark knight well that was one of the greatest films ever. Ledger did an amazing job and yes better then Jack did. Nolan as protade the batman movies the way the comics were written. If bale and Nolan don't do anymore then the series should end. In any movie there is a build up to the end and that what was happening if dracoa couldn't bear it then keep it to yourself because this is a room for fans not haters.
If no one had replied to my first post that would have been the end of it. I stated my opinion as an opinion. I didn't attack, and it was never my intent to antagonize, yet I was attacked for expressing my opinion. Did Heath play a psychopath well? Yes, definitely. But he entirely missed the core of what the Joker is as was established over decades, so therefore his portrayal is inaccurate at best, a disaster at worst. He wasn't portraying the character of The Joker, but some other nutjob in clown makeup, who just so happens to be a whole lot more serious than the people he asks "Why so serious" to. And if you don't like what I have to say, don't read it. I'm allowed to post my opinions about a movie. It's a "room" for people.
First of all if you thought the movies were boring then your not a batman fan so that means you don't know what your are talking about whe. It comes to the role of the joker. Jack was okay and Heath was oustanding. He play the role to the T and nobody will ever top that. The reason why the movie was boring to you is because your not a fan of batman and don't say that you are because you'd be lying. Only a person who wants to argue goes into a room and comments negatively on a movie series that you know everyone is commenting positively. You are trying to get a rise out of people and your just looking dumb or like a joker pun intended.
I liked Batman, the cartoons weren't bad, hell, even the original TV show had it's moments. No, I never read the comics (or any DC comics for that matter), but I'd say that that qualifies me to say that yes, I do enjoy it. When it comes to Joker, I respectfully disagree. Heath was ok, but Jack was astounding. Jack was loyal to the canon that had been established over decades, where as Heath threw all that away. Jack had the right balance of darkness and humor/over the topness. All Heath had going for him was the darkness. And who are you to tell me what I'm a fan of and what I'm not? Your arrogance is astounding. Seriously. Try being a little humble. Also, I didn't know that EVERYONE was commenting positively, because I didn't read any.
If you didn't read the comics then you don't know how the joker is to be played end of story. Jack was good not great Heath played the role perfectly. The humor is not suppose to be funny like Jack. I was humble in my first post and I had to take it to another level be you are trying to prove a point that can't be proven. You talk about me being arrogant what about yourself oh my god you have zero roo to talk. Look inside yourself and relize that the batman movies are just not your genre of movies. That is observation based on your postings. Also if you can't see everyone being positive the you can't read. Everyone love Nolan and bale and that is what the posts are saying. Also Heath is dead why don't you try to respect his legacy.
I can go off of what I've heard from people that I actually trust, not some sad little fanboy like you. If humor isn't supposed to be funny, then it's not humor, simply put. I haven't been arrogant, I've merely stated my opinions as opinions, you and the rest of the fanboys are stating your opinions as facts. I'll have you know that I read at an advanced level, I just chose to not read other peoples opinions and state my own. Heath was an okay actor, with one or two shining roles, I give his legacy the respect it EARNED, as opposed to just kissing a dead guy's ass, like most fans of Dark Knight seem to. Yeah, it was sad he died, not because he was some great actor, but because he was a human being. Why don't you respect him for a person?
So it really doesn't matter what anybody says to you because you just being an ******* and your going to continue to do that to whom ever comments on your post. Why don't you take your opinion and post it where other jerkoffs like yourself will enjoy reading it or start a blog where your opinion is what matters most. Either way you are what you are and that won't change because you can't make and old dog like new things. Btw form your own opinions and don't copy to one you trust most. I may be a fan boy but to all movies not just this series. This is also what I do for a living so trust me when I say you really don't know what your talking about.
It really doesn't matter what I say to you, because you are just going to be an arrogant *** about it. Why don't you take your little fanboy opinions elsewhere. Your extreme opinions are not needed nor wanted. Try being moderate for once. And if I hadn't formed my own opinion, I'd be a sheep just like you and I'd praise Dark Knight as the greatest movie ever, but I don't. You can say it's what you do for a living all you want, it doesn't make it true. I could say it's what I do for a living also, but my saying it wouldn't make it true. So trust me when I say that your claims mean absolutely nothing to someone who has broken free of the herd mentality.
Right I get it now. I have to hate the movie so I won't be a sheep, really that is just so stupid. Just to let you know my opinions are wanted here dumbass you were the one asked to go away. Take that advise and quit but you don't know how to do that. Oh by the way don't talk to me like you know me cause you don't. I wanted to also mention I never said DK was the greatest movie ever but it is in the top 25 all time.
agreed its not like hes hurting anyone or preaching, its not like hes banging your wife as you walk in the door hes just saying just like everyone else, i loved both these films and think thier excellent and have to go with the majority but its people like dracoa that make these films even better cause they actually can find somthing wrong instead be in awe. oh yeah dracoa i like the lemming comment nice
Thank you. To me the story was boring, other people can find it entertaining. It's just some people think that because they like something that everyone must or it's a personal insult, despite the fact that they had absolutely nothing to do with the film. No film is perfect, despite what some people think. As for the lemming comment, well, it's true of society in general, not just when it comes to movies. People tend to just follow what they are told without thinking for themselves, even if it's bad for them. I was guilty of it, still am to some degree like needing a job for money, I admit that, but for the most part I think for myself and I don't conform to what's expected because it's expected.
The Crow remake Please remake that movie , I would love to see that with today's effects, holy hell that would be awesome, but do NOT cast Wahlburg I think he was the reason I did not like Max Payne, hes a Great actor love him in dramas like departed and boogie nights and perfect storm , hes great but no more action flicks. cast Johnny Depp for the Crow, and have Tim Burton direct it, that would be a crazy movie. and make it with a lot of action and bloody.
I love the NEW Batman films, in the last two films we have seen some amazing storytelling and characters that I do not believe anyone but Nolan could capture. Changing any part of the series would totally kill it for me, its challenging enough that Ledger died because they have stayed true to the story of Batman with not killing any of the villains, seeing Scarecrow in the second film was an awesome addition to that film, I would have expected to see the Joker in the 3rd film and hopefully they still accomplish that maybe even with a glimpse of him in Arkham would be cool. When they changed the role of Rachel Dawes from Holmes to Gyllenhaal I didnt like that, "Not one bit"- if after this 3rd movie any of the actor cant do it, DONT DO IT!
Keep on Making Batman now thts what we want because these are great movies and it would be a disappointment if they were done on the 3rd one.And no TV show because Karl Urban as batman? Wow no we all know Christian Bale is the better Batman
There has never been a more exciting or remarkable Batman as C. Bale. Hope he continues for as long as it's fun for him. To C. Nolan; Sign him up quick for more................Gramandi
Bale was first to play a convincing Batman. The franchise should continue in the movies, for as long as they possibly can. There are thousands of great Batman stories to explore, he is great character, and Bale can age with him. I still say John Cleese should have been Alfred.
Bale may be the best actor to play the role (nitpickers' opinions of his "Batman voice" be damned), but I can totally understand if he wants to move on after TDKR. Three films playing the same character can get boring and things can get stale. The Batman story will undoubtedly continue whether Nolan and Bale are involved or not, Warner Bros. will always be pushing for the next Batfilm until the character no longer makes them money. But if we can come out of it with three stellar Nolan Batman films that transcend the genre, then what else can any Batman fan ask for? Well, aside from a Batman TV series of course. I would really like to see Batman return to television in a serious live-action Batman: Year One type of series.
that was obvious this was his last Batman movie since Nolan has told the world he is ending the story with this next movie
I don't know. I think a tv series like Smallville only for Bats might be decent. Maybe if they pull their head out of there shoes.. they could tie the 2 together by finally, yes I know whoever said whatever that they can't, but why not? I say at the end of the series of Smallville, make Bats make a cameo so whoever can start the Gotham series. Everything with Bats or Supes has usually been better if they're teamed. And we all know we want a live action Bats Vs Supes Movie.
I don't want a Batman vs. Superman series. Wolfgang Peterson tried to do one (he went off the do Troy instead), and the premise for it stunk. (Bruce gets engaged, his fiance dies, he blames Superman for it, they fight...WTF?) It feels very forced and contrived to get two characters who fight for the same things and are on the same side to take each other on in a "Versus" kind of movie. Maybe if they teamed up in a movie without making it feel forced, then okay. It just can't be just about fanboyish "SUPERMAN AND BATMAN TOGETHER WOULD BE AWWWWESOME!" shallow wish fulfillment.
well if they did a movie where Superman was exposed to red kryptonite and became evil, then they could do a Superman Vs. Batman movie.
Could work, but from a realistic standpoint (and that's how Batman has been portrayed on film), Batman wouldn't stand a chance in hell against Superman, even if he's packing some green Kryptonite for good measure. The comics like to portray Batman kicking the crap outta Superman because they like the underdog thing and can't afford to have their top heroes kill one another, but all a red K-infected Supes would need to do is use superspeed and snap Bats' neck like a twig before he even got a chance to act. Movie over.
Might I suggest you check out a copy of the old graphic novel: "The Dark Knight Returns?" It's rather dated, but spells out a realistic Batman v. Superman scenario - including Batman taking the fight to Superman in a credible fashion by virtue of what has always made Batman the most aweome super heroe of all: Brains, Balls and Awesome Tech!
"Welcome to the party, pal."
"I am serious... and don't call me Shirley."
"When am I gonna learn how to punch?"
"These go to eleven."
"Benjamin, have you ever been severely beaten about the face & neck?"
"Just keep swimming, swimming, swimming."
"You're gonna need a bigger boat."
"Jessica's got cable."
