Hollywood has entertained the idea of adapting Orson Scott Card’s Ender’s Game for decades, but the conceptually rich narrative presented all sorts of obstacles. The success of similarly layered science-fiction like The Hunger Games, however, helped kick the doors at major studios open a little more than usual, which explains why Gavin Hood is busily adapting Game to the big screen, with an eye toward a November 2013 release.
Um...Ender Wiggins is 8yrs old....not the apparent 16-18 of this kid here...so...ruined already.
First time hearing of this new Sci-Fi acition movie Ender's Game, it looks very clinical and promising.
I meant the look of the movie , the little black girl looks like Ru from the Hunger Gameslol and the article states that this was waiting to be green lit based on the success of THG , obviously this is targeting the same kind of audience , im sure the stories are different however judging by the pics looks like they are copying that world .
The book was amazing, but idk if that allows directors to ruin it. judging from the pics and past movies, it won't be a good adaptation. But i think they should try to make a movie as good as the book
yes! on the right track!!!! Thank you!
this looks like a ripOff of the Hunger Games
On behalf of Ender's fans, I hate you. Unless you're making a joke, in which case I love you.
Enders game came out way before the Hunger games were even thought about. I would read the book before you make an assumption like this.
Given that Ender's game was written in 1980s and the Hunger Games was written sometime in 2008... there can't have been any way that is true. Besides the plots are similar (children in combat/war roles) but hardly the same especially given that Ender's game focuses on other... situations.
L.O.L. You're joking, right?
"Welcome to the party, pal."
"I am serious... and don't call me Shirley."
"When am I gonna learn how to punch?"
"These go to eleven."
"Benjamin, have you ever been severely beaten about the face & neck?"
"Just keep swimming, swimming, swimming."
"You're gonna need a bigger boat."
"Jessica's got cable."
