As Hollywood returns from its post-Labor Day malaise, all eyes were on Telluride and Veince Film Festivals this week, as well as prepping for Toronto at the end of the month. We also now have a host for the Oscars as well as a slew of Twilight promotional material along with Nike auctioning off 1,500 Air Mags as seen in Back to the Future 2. But most importantly, as the ten year anniversary of 9/11 occurs this weekend, we feature a montage of the late Twin Towers in all its cameo appearances through the years. Let's take a look back at the week that was and as always, never forget...
In light of the 9/11 tribute video, I wouldn't mind seeing Sony re-release the original Spider-Man trailer, which featured Spidey catching a helicoper of escaped criminals in a web strung between the towers. It was originally released shortly before 9/11, and quickly pulled from theatres after the attack.
"Welcome to the party, pal."
"I am serious... and don't call me Shirley."
"When am I gonna learn how to punch?"
"These go to eleven."
"Benjamin, have you ever been severely beaten about the face & neck?"
"Just keep swimming, swimming, swimming."
"You're gonna need a bigger boat."
"Jessica's got cable."
