From Lizerne Guiting: Ouch! Sarah Jessica Parker wore a hand-me-down to the New York SATC premiere?! Looks like even the star of the savviest of haute couture chick flicks isn’t exempt from a fashion blunder.
OK, “hand-me-down” is a little harsh. But the one-of-a-kind platinum gown, which Parker was supposedly the first to wear, was flaunted twice before—first on Lindsay Lohan in a photo shoot for Harper’s Bazaar magazine in March, then by socialite Lauren Santo Domingo at the Metropolitan Museum of Art’s Costume Institute Gala in May.
SJP says it was “unethical” that designer Olivier Theyskens of Nina Ricci allowed the dress to be worn again. How’s that for cringe-inducing, real-life drama?
Who wears it best?

What Theyskens did was just downright dirty! He should've really thought it thru that it was a HUGE moment for Sarah Jessica Parker, and not only was it the NY premiere (where the series takes place), but it was a movie about FASHION. He should've known it'd come up everywhere that the dress was shown before...not once, but TWICE! Anyway, I ADORE Sarah and I think she looks the loveliest!
Sarah Jessica Parker looked so beautiful in that dress....better than anything I've ever seen her in. Why does she care? It looked better on her than anyone else, and those other girls aren't too shabby!
"Welcome to the party, pal."
"I am serious... and don't call me Shirley."
"When am I gonna learn how to punch?"
"These go to eleven."
"Benjamin, have you ever been severely beaten about the face & neck?"
"Just keep swimming, swimming, swimming."
"You're gonna need a bigger boat."
"Jessica's got cable."
