Check Out January Jones as Emma Frost in 'X-Men: First Class'

Now that the giant cast is in place, the first images from the set of X-Men: First Class are starting to creep online – beginning with unofficial shots of January Jones all dressed up as Emma Frost. As you can see from the image (more can be found over at INF Daily), Jones is all decked out in classic Frost attire, complete with white skirt, white boots and a Russian hat. This is what they'd call her "White Queen" attire, and it's very much in line with how she appeared in the comics.

Frost is a character we haven't seen much of yet on screen, with the exception of the young girl (Tahyna Tozzi) who played her briefly in X-Men Origins: Wolverine. She's a mutant who has the power of telepathy (meaning she can read people's minds), and she's also one of the sexiest members of the X-Men to boot.
 
January Jones (Mad Men) ultimately wound up with the role after it was rumored that both Rosamund Pike and Alice Eve were up for the same part. In the film, she'll join James McAvoy, Michael Fassbender, Rose Byrne, Kevin Bacon, Nicholas Hoult, Jennifer Lawrence, Caleb Landry Jones, Lucas Till, Edi Gathegi, Jason Flemyng, Oliver Platt, Morgan Lily, Zoe Kravitz and Bill Bilner. X-Men: First Class hits theaters on June 3rd, 2011.

    Like the outfit Ms. Emma Frost/Actress January Jones (interesting name she has..'January) looks "supertuff-mysterious" action woman!!! Looking forward to the new X-MEN First Class with it's giant Cast of acting talents, very happy that Actor's Kevin Bacon and James McAvoy are gonna be in it: they take my breath away & I love their movies. Looking forward to 2011!

    It is good to see the more tradtional attire for X-men. The rubber black look was way to overdone, and if they are sort of rebooting the x-men that is the first thing that needs to go! Miss Jones does in fact look very sexy as well. I have very high hopes for this film. I can't wait til next June. Heck Next summer in general. It's gonna be killer line up at the theater.

    She has both. But when she turns her body into diamond form, she loses her ability of telepathy ^_^
