Now that you've scrolled through the red carpet pics, here's the info on Free Comic Book Day! The annual event which takes place on the first Saturday of May each year is back. You can also find out more information by going to the Free Comic Book Day website. Marvel has even created this poster to raise awareness:

Stan "The Man" waved from the motorcycle. He's aware of his supporters. What a wonderful man! Met him at the Albuquerque Comic Con and can't wait to see him there again! I look for him in every Marvel pic! Love the man

I've been looking forward to this movie for a long time. I'm not sure who was responsible for the setting up the rules for the premiere, but if would have been great for the fans who came out to cheer the stars if even just one of the people involved with the movie had waved or at least acknowledged all their supporters!

I wish somebody would invent a new super-hero. That kind of happened with characters like Star Wars and Indiana Jones back when Lucas and Spielberg were on top of their game. Constantly recycling the same peeps again and again and again is getting old. Synopsis: Freaky dude in a freaky costume runs/flies/slithers/swims through analog of New York City blowing stuff up with mediocre (but cool!) CGI effects. The End. Need to broaden our cinematic horizons a little here...even if its just awesome popcorn-epics like this stuff.

Heard that there is a three hour cut of this. I hope Joss puts it on the Avengers DVD/Blu-ray.

I can't wait for this, Joss is going to knock this out of the park! I am also looking foward to TDKR (Nolen is a master storyteller) and The Guardians (it's an action comedy superhero film where the worlds greatest villains must team up to stop a Justice League like team of superheroes from secretly taking over the world. Read the script for it online and it was really cool and fun... but I digress). Only thig I want to know about Avengers is if it's worth seeing in 3D. Heard it was post converted (which is never good), so I need a review to tell me if the extra bucks are worth it for the 3D. Also, I must know if there is a Hulk Vs Thor throwdown like in the comics.
