With May just two weeks away, the summer movie season is fast approaching (and yes, it begins in May as movie studios release their tentpole films early to jump the gun). Fandango recently polled moviegoers on their most anticipated films and actors, and found that Marvel's The Avengers is living up to its superhero hype, garnering the most votes for multiple categories.
Men and women remained split on their top five most anticipated summer films, however, Australian heartthrob Chris Hemsworth, who stars as Thor in The Avengers and the lead in Snow White and the Huntsman, sits atop both lists:

Without a doubt, "Prometheus" looks the best and is what I'm looking forward to the most, w/ "Dark Knight Rises" and "Avengers" close behind. I'm sure "MIB3" will be fun too. From the list, I am dubious that "Bourne" comes in at number 3 without Matt Damon returning. And no "Spiderman"? Also surprising.
