The Amazing Spider-Man
Fanboy Fix, Summer Movies 2012
theyre making an electro movie he why do u think there was lighting in connors cell its either electro n green goblin or doc ock n venom venoms gonna be the ultimate spiderman venom where doc ock makes venom then in the amazing spiderman 3 it will be venom n carnage
Isn't there a Venom movie in the works? For next year, even? I remember Avi Arad saying "Venom" would link to the "TASM" universe and give fans the Venom movie they wanted. This would also allow the studio to use, if they chose to, Carnage.
The only reason I believe it's Carnage is because we've already seen Green Goblin in the past Spiderman movies, and I think Marvel's trying to avoid monotony by rebooting the franchise.
Let's not forget - Carnage has a huge part in Gwen Stacy's story(if they want to keep the "Ultimates" vibe going).
Will we see him in 2014? I doubt it. With the route Webb & Marvel have taken, I'd believe Kraven, Mysterio, Shocker/Electro, Scorpion, or even Smythe & The Spider Slayers to be next.
We all know it doesn't really matter who is featured in the sequel, as long as there is tons of action and that the Directors DO THERE PART. In order to this they must do what the real die hard fans want. And that is that we, I'm sure, would all prefer Great actors who follow and are true to the comic book characters. Nothing like what Batman did with Bane. Make Spider-man have the kind of humour that distracts his enemies, also show the power that he wields to stop them and that no matter how tough it may be and how beat up he gets that he will never give up. That is what a real Hero Should portray to the youth and fans that love them.
I Would Like Too See a Sequel of 6 Villians & Toby Maguire Was Good in The First 2 Spidey Movies But in 3 Spider-Man Toby Maguire Sucked & I Also Hated That 3 Movie Diden't Follow The Marvel Comic Books New Goblin Does Not Die in The Comic Books & They Changed it So New Goblin Can Die in The Movie That Was Awful I Did Not Appreciate The Change I Wish They Would Have Sticked Too The Comic Books & I Haven't Seen The Amazing Spider-Man Movie I'll See it Soon Just as Soon as it Gets 2 Weeks Old So I Won't Have Too Pay The Upgrade on Discount Movie Ticket.
Why not make a movie on the Sinister Six and how they came about; Why they become Spidermans enemy and of course you have the current Spideman in it as well. To tie the movie plot even better onto the sequel(s). I believe if you do it this way, it will be just as great as the Avengers movie.
the amazing spiderman was great! tried watching the original 3 after it and they just didnt compare, i would at some point like to see spiderman fight Carnage!
I think that they should introduce new villains that we haven't seen in previous Spiderman films such as Rhino, Scorpian, and Mysterio. I've played against them in Spiderman video games and I've always wanted to see them in action on the big screen. I've been wanting to see The Lizard since the very first Spiderman movie and was ticked that they didn't introduce him. I'm so glad they did for the first installment of this trilogy and I hope they continue to bring in newer and tougher villains. Push Spidey to his limits. On the topic of how many villains, I think that three should be maximum. (If that.) In a movie, a viewer should be able to get to know the characters and you can't in a movie with A LOT of main characters.
what they should dod is this get a villian who spider-man cannot kill and have the villian win and kill off spider-man for good
Seriously everyone, STOP with the Venom/Carnage thing! Venom is a great Spidey villain, but to be done correctly, has to be fleshed out over a couple of movies. You have to develop Eddie Brock and his growing hatred for Peter, and you have to have Peter wear the Black Costume for a while. Carnage should never be in a Spider-Man movie. Yes, he looks cool. But that is about as far as it goes. The Carnage character has never had any depth. He's not relatable and would not make for an interesting character in a movie. So please, stop basing your "best Spider-Man movie villains" off of the Maximum Carnage video game of the 90s, and actually read some comic books so that you can post intelligent answers.

Well of course it's not Osborne as the shadow figure, if anyone remembers in the movie dr curt Connors and his boss were talking of a cure to save Osborn because we was sick in the hospital and were running out of time! The sinister six isn't cool all at once just toooo much would be going on, other than that the movie was fantastic but what happend to Peter wrestling match ?
I honestly haven't see it yet but I've seen the previews and they look good. I've been a Spidey fan for years so I'll go see the movie soon. As far as who Spider-Man should face off with, it should be the Green Goblin. The thing I nocticed so far is that the the producers, writers and directors of this Spider-Man movie are sticking to what actually happened in the comic books and thats great. I can't wait to see it this weekend.
I would just like to say that I love this movie and I hope the sequels are just as good. I'm a big fan of the comics, and while they took some liberties with the story I must say I like the changes made, and Im all for it. This new character is much more intersting then the stereotype nerdy Tobey Maguire. Im sorry, its just true. Something about the way this film was executed just felt incredibly authenitc while the last ones were good movies(and true to the comics), but not necessarily good stories.
I do say Amazing Spider-man i liked more than Sam Raimi's movies and would like to see it move forward with the trilogy. concerning future villains it would be cool to see Spidey take on the Rhino as one and the second could be Electro. Though Alfred Molina Dr. Ock was good and I enjoyed him as well. Though there is a wide group of villains he could take on I guess it is up to the writers Alex Kurtzman and Robert Orci. Kraven would make a new twis as well as for the vulture or Mysterio we will just have to see. besides isn't Thanos out there planning on attacking Cap and his team in the next avengers movie Hmm wwe will ahvt o see though my friends are tired of Superhero movies. I look forward to next set of movies with the Spider-man crew
After viewing and discussing the Amazing Spiderman with my two boys, we have decided that Rhino would be a logical, (and mayhem-wrecking) fun choice for the next Spidey villian. We already have the "cross-species genetics" groundwork laid from the first movie. We have a Norman Osborn that is dying and needs a "cure", we have Oscorp mad scientists, and they (producers+directors) could easily plug O'hirn in to be a "test" subject before Norman can safely accept the serum.
With a reboot, and artistic license (sorry fanboys) Webb could EASILY have Rhino be intelligently destructive, while laying the future sinister plots and groundwork for whatever is in store for the third Spidey.
Lastly, I'd like to mention that the Spider-Man comic book series also had a knack for introducing new super heroes to the stage. So I can't see why there couldn't be a couple of pair-ups to come. Most people think that Kraven could work as an upcoming villain, yet as crazy as it sounds, can somebody give us Kazar and his Sabertooth Lion? This could go on and on with ideas for villains and heroes, but I still say it would be off-the-hook to see the Lizard come back (by the 3rd film) joined with Mysterio (as was once done in the McFarland storyline, I think).
As far as Venom or Carnage is concerned...please No! I didn't think that Venom belonged in the Tobey/Spidey 3rd sequel at all. I was actually expecting the Lizard in the 3rd movie. So I'm glad they finally did it with the current reboot. Venom is a character who came along much later in the Spider-Man comic book series. If worked great as a story line in the books, yet it sucked on film in the 3rd movie. Sandman was weak as well. The F/X used for Sandman was cool, yet the actor looked like he was crying all the time. And the so-called HobGoblin (not mentioned in that movie), why bother? Save Green Goblin for the 3rd flick sequel in the reboot series.
The Sinister Six?...Come on people, that's pure overkill at this stage of the game. In this current reboot, it seemed to me that OsCorp is now the set-up for any scientific/technological experiments gone wrong (or right). And with that said, I can certainly see a path laid out for introducing a few of Spidey's odd villains, such as the Rhino, or the Scorpion (think military tech/body armor). Mysterio (techno wizard) would be a fine addition. Pair his character with possible upcoming movie tech /3-D innovations, etc., and we could get a sequel flick worthy of Mysterio, which could also tie-in the whole movie audience as part of the story. Imagine that?! Now there's an experience!
Heck ya---I'm all for The Sinister Six. How the hell is THAT going to happen? It'd be cool if they simply introduced them in the sequel, and then have them all square off in the third. Bunch them all together at once and it'll make no sense, IMHO.
Any one think that the person at the end of the film may be the King Pin if they are talking about the sinister six he should be involved somewhere in the story and he has something to do with oscorp dosnt he?
I am not nearly as concerned about the villain or villains as I am about Peter's parents' story. I want to see more about their deaths, and more about his father's secrets. For me, that side of the story is a large part of what makes this incarnation much better than the previous three. But if I must comment on a villain - then I suppose I would like to see one that hasn't been in any of the movies before. Why not shock us with something unforeseen?
I've always wanted to see a Spidey movie with Kraven in it. :) Kraven's Last Hunt please!
Anyone over the age of 30 knows Spider-Man has had plenty of great villains other than Venom or Carnage (and Carnage was just effing pointless). There have been plenty of great adversaries since 1963 and after the 90's. They've done the Goblin, Sandman, Venom and Doc Ock. And now the Lizard. They still have the Rhino, Electro, Mysterio, the Shocker, the Vulture and later guys like Morlun. Lots of fodder for sequels without relying on character that have already been done.
im down for about anything as long as they do not use kravin the hunter or that stupid spider clone saga.....
How about you stick to the comics...
"Welcome to the party, pal."
"I am serious... and don't call me Shirley."
"When am I gonna learn how to punch?"
"These go to eleven."
"Benjamin, have you ever been severely beaten about the face & neck?"
"Just keep swimming, swimming, swimming."
"You're gonna need a bigger boat."
"Jessica's got cable."
