Although, ashamedly, I did have a couple of impulsive bursts of laughter, this movie was horrible, living up to everything we heard about it: vulgar and insulting to the viewer's intelligence. My biggest question is this: How did they EVER assemble such an awesome cast for this debacle? Simply amazing.

To quote Lenka's " The Show " lyrics, " I want my money back, I want my money back"', Their are movies that become funny in their overkill of exaggerated use of being, gross, , offbeat , quirky, corny, but "MOVIE 43 " At. Best... leaves. U At, FOR Real? This is ridiculous! DID I really pay to see this? Wow! The story lines had potential, ( Think, really good SNL skits in a movie format) but somehow got lost...by almost over trying! It has the bling of a star studded cast, without any sparkle! The cast almost felt as they were scared of the awkwardness of the script, not committing to the overzealous format (outside Ana Faris who has perfected this genre of film). If u need a filler outside outside current sad award honored productions ( aka Les Mis, The Impossible) to neutralize the tears, This may be the solution , or a great start for your New Years Resolution to exercise towards the concession stand!

It was funny and completely outrageous! It was all shorts, so if something wasn't good, or the joke got old it moved on pretty quickly. It was kinda fun seeing some of these stars being so silly.

I wanted to flea the theater in less than 5 minutes,Ireally wish I had followed that initial instinct!! The only sketch that didn't make me feel physically sick was "Homeschool"9and some of the fake commercials) the rest were just nasty and imbarrassing for the "ACTORS" that were stupid enough to participate in this complete piece of crap(and I mean that literally)! Say "BYE BYE.. to that Oscar Hugh Jackman there is no way in hell anyone will take you seriously .

The framework is essentially a pitch for a movie by an absolute sociopath played by Dennis Quaid. He holds a movie executive at gun-point and forces him to listen to his idea for a movie that can only be described as nonsensical. Most of the movie is spent producing the scenes from this nonsense and it's truly terrible material. For example, Kate Winslet and Hugh Jackman play characters who go on a blind date and all appears too good to be true until Jackman takes off his scarf and reveals that he has a ******* hanging from his neck. The rest of the scene focuses around the awkward moments in a restaurant where Winslet's character is the only one shocked by this freakish deformity. It only gets worse from that point on, but I think that gives you a picture of the tone of the film and the ridiculous nature of the plot. The chance of you waling out are very high. I did.
