Your Most Anticipated Movie for November Is…

October has passed us by, with Real Steel , Paranormal Activity and Puss in Boots claiming top spots at the box office. Real Steel was the most anticipated movie from October, claiming 28% of the vote with The Ides of March a close second with 21%. Among limited releases, Human Centipede 2 was by far the most anticipated limited release, accounting for 30% of the vote. And poor Mighty Macs. Not a single vote.

And so we enter November 2011, aka Twilight Month. Breaking Dawn Part 1 is sure to dominate the latter half of the month but before Edward and Bella say, "I do," several films will be arriving hoping to get an early slice of the pie.
Tower Heist and A Very Harold and Kumar 3D Christmas kick off the month. Both comedies will look to knock off defending champ Puss in Boots. The following week brings 3D action CG-eye-gasm Immortals facing off against Adam Sandler's latest, Jack and Jill.
Clint Eastwood's J. Edgar also opens along with Melancholia.
Poor Happy Feet Two will look to scrape up Breaking Dawn's left overs on the 18th, while indie audiences and awards season aficionados can check out George Clooney's other movie generating Oscar-buzz, The Descendants.
Arthur Christmas closes out the month opening against Martin Scorsese's Hugo and Disney's The Muppets while two more buzzworthy movies,  A Dangerous Method and My Week With Marilyn, open in limited release.
So… do we really need to put a poll down here? Isn't it just going to be overwhelmed by Twilight fans suffering from neurotic convulsions as they count down to the strike of midnight, Nov. 18? Then again who knows, maybe we'll discover a cult of Arthur Christmas fans that are crossing out the days on their calendar 'til the movie opens.
