You Rate the New Releases: 'Tower Heist' and 'A Very Harold and Kumar 3D Christmas'

Unfortunately Christmas did not come early for our new releases this past weekend, as Puss in Boots ($33 million) maintained its steady (and impressive) box office take by defeating both Tower Heist ($24 million, and second place) and A Very Harold and Kumar 3D Christmas ($13 million and third place) to remain at the top of an increasingly competitive box office that’s about to usher in a number of big holiday movies and awards contenders.

But before we get to freak out about films like Breaking Dawn, The Adventures of Tintin, Mission Impossible – Ghost Protocol, War Horse and all the other big titles heading our way, we want to hear your thoughts on Tower Heist and Harold and Kumar. How was Eddie Murphy’s adult comedy comeback? Where would you rank this Harold and Kumar installment versus the other two? In terms of critical reception, surprisingly, A Very Harold and Kumar 3D Christmas won that battle, claiming a 75% Fresh rating on Rotten Tomatoes over Tower Heist’s 69% Fresh.
