You Pick the Oscar Winner: Best Actress

Who was the best leading lady from 2012's crop of films? Most pundits have this race narrowed down to Jennifer Lawrence versus Jessica Chastain. Both actresses have had tremendous success at the various awards events thus far.

So are the other three actresses playing the role of obligatory nominees? Naomi Watts has earned solid praise for her performance in The Impossible and the Academy made history in nominating Emmanuelle Riva and Quvenzhane Wallis as the oldest and youngest nominees, respectively, for the category.

Riva will also be celebrating her birthday on Oscar night. Will she become the oldest actor to win an award? Or will the Academy honor one of two rising actresses in Chastain or Lawrence?

The most recent showdown at the SAG Awards found Lawrence trumping Chastain to get the win, but who's going to win on Oscar night?

Head over to our Ballot Box and have your say and you could win a pair of movie tickets! Also, voice your choice on who will win in the comment section below.

The Academy Awards air on ABC on February 24 at 4 p.m. PST/7 p.m. EST.
