The latest trend around Hollywood when it comes to casting big movies is that we begin hearing names during the earliest phases of production. We're seeing more studio wishlists and this-person-took-a-meeting stories than ever before, and it's sadly taking away from what we should really be focused on: Confirmed casting stories. Nevertheless, fans love to speculate and give their opinion, which is why we're bringing you what looks to be the first round of Robocop remake casting rumors.
You Pick the New RoboCop: Johnny Depp, Keanu Reeves or Tom Cruise
Moviehole reports that they're starting to hear some chatter with regards to the Robocop remake, which will be directed by Jose Padilha, the Brazilian break-out star behind the two Elite Squad movies (both of which have broken box office records in Brazil). The names right off the bat are, of course, big and probably unattainable, but it's a good place to start. They are: Johnny Depp, Keanu Reeves and Tom Cruise. That's who the studio wants, though we should expect that list to grow to include a crop of today's hottest actors.
But going purely on this list of three, which one of these actors would you like to see play Robocop? Do you have a preference, or would you like to see them go with someone else entirely? Sound off below …
