In one of the oddest Star Wars tie-in campaigns we've seen yet, the French fast-food chain Quick has unveiled two new burgers in anticipation of The Phantom Menace 3D arriving in theaters, and we're not so sure The Force is strong with this duo. Called the Dark Vader Burger and the Jedi Burger, both burgers are meant to represent the light and dark side of The Force, with the Vader (should actually be Maul, right?) burger being dyed black because, ya know, who wouldn't want to chomp down on that evil, tasty-looking concoction? Yeah, not us. But by all means, have at it monsieur!
It's been awhile it seems since we've gotten a new, buzzed-about Brisk ad, and now the iced tea company behind legendary ads like the one where Bruce Lee kicks the crap out of Ralph Maccio as The Karate Kid is back and taking on Star Wars. With promo for The Phantom Menace 3D starting to heat up (we fully expect Hot Topic to be all over anything related to Darth Maul), Brisk has arrived on the scene with this fun ad in the style of their older (and more memorable) TV spots, featuring Yoda squaring off against Darth Maul.
We're sort of surprised this isn't debuting during the Super Bowl, however these days all the Super Bowl spots hit the online world first anyway so we could also see this during the big game.
Star Wars Episode I - The Phantom Menace 3D hits theaters on February 10th.
