Yes, They're Making a Movie Out of Tom Clancy's Splinter Cell

Bidding on Tom Clancy's Splinter Cell has begun to heat up as Paramount looks to secure film rights for the hit Ubisoft property. Warner Bros. is also in contention should things not pan out with Paramount.

Tom Clancy properties are no stranger to making the jump to the big screen. Kenneth Branagh is set to direct a reboot of the popular Jack Ryan series for Paramount and an adaptation of the Clancy spin-off Without Remorse is also being developed.

The Splinter Cell series follows a man named Sam Fisher, a member of a special NSA division known as Third Echelon. The games emphasize stealth as you maneuver through high security areas eliminating guards.

Should Paramount or WB gain the rights for the series, who should play Fisher?
