Yay or Nay: Tom Cruise and Cameron Diaz in 'Knight and Day' Trailer

The second full-length trailer for the upcoming summer action-comedy Knight and Day hit TV screens during Dancing with the Stars last night, and it arrived online shortly after. Starring Tom Cruise and Cameron Diaz, this definitely has all the markings of a successful summer movie: two bankable stars, lots of funny one-liners and tons of big, special effects-heavy action sequences -- my favorite (so far) being the scene where Diaz turns around on the motorcycle, grabs Cruise's guns and starts firing away. It totally felt like an Angelina Jolie-type move, with a nice helping of scary sexiness.

In the film, Cruise and Diaz play a fugitive couple racing across the globe on an adventure where nothing is what it appears to be. Seems pretty scarce, and the trailer doesn't exactly tack on any more clues – except to make it seem as if Cruise is some ex-operative who, for one reason or another, takes Diaz hostage while they run from the many people trying to kill them. However, something tells me Diaz isn't as innocent as she's made out to be early on.

James Mangold (who directed the very good 3:10 to Yuma and Walk the Line) is behind the camera here, which definitely gives me more faith in the final product. And yeah, I'll admit to not being one of the many Tom Cruise haters out there. I actually like the guy, and he looks like he brings a little "crazy" to this role, which could be good.
