'World War Z' Viral Video Claims Our Planet has Reached Crisis Zero (Which Isn't Good)

It’s appropriate that a film like the upcoming World War Z uses a viral video to promote awareness, as the whole film is about a viral pandemic that turns the planet’s population into hordes of flesh-craving zombies.

It starts with Crisis Zero, which we learn more about in this Paramount-produced clip, shared via Yahoo Movies:

Brad Pitt stars in Marc Forster’s World War Z, about a United Nations employee traversing the globe in search of the cause of – and possible cure for – a zombie apocalypse.

The film is based on a novel by Max Brooks, which retells the war we fought against the zombies. The movie adaptation co-stars Mireille Enos, Daniella Kertesz, James Badge Dale, Matthew Fox and David Morse.

It opens everywhere on June 21
