'Wizard of Oz' Travels Yellow Brick Road to IMAX 3D Rerelease

You're not in the 1930s anymore.

The Wizard of Oz is set to return to theaters for a limited one-week run in September to celebrate the 75-year anniversary of its Technicolor debut.

USAToday got the jump on the rerelease, which will be converted "to 3D and IMAX." The restoration of the film is part of Warner Bros.' promotion for the 75th anniversary home video release scheduled to arrive on October 1. The five-disc set will include Blu-ray, Blu-ray 3D, DVD and Ultraviolet versions of the film as well as a new documentary on the making of the movie to go along with other bonus features.

Bleeding Cool posted a pic of the anniversary set, which Amazon is currently listing for $73.99.

The Wizard of Oz: An IMAX 3D Experience is scheduled to arrive in theaters on September 20 and will screen in IMAX's 400 theaters nationwide. The movie will also get a limited international release.

Are you looking forward to another walk down the yellow brick (IMAX 3D) road?
