Which Autobots and Decepticons Could Appear in 'Transformers 4'?

With casting for Transformers 4 pretty much set, attention is beginning to turn to which robot warriors will appear in Michael Bay's franchise reboot.

JoBlo shed some light as to some of the characters we're likely to see in T4, although all of this should be filed in the rumor column until officially confirmed by Bay, Hasbro or Paramount.

That being said, the site claims that "a reliable source" has provided them with a bunch of new info about the sequel. Read on, but know that some of this stuff could be spoiler-y.

First off, their source has confirmed that Transformers 4 will feature Dinobots, including fan favorite Grimlock. One of the villains of the film will be a character named Lockdown, who has a ship full of decommissioned Transformers including the Dinobots who are brought back to life by a captive Optimus Prime.

Prime will be joined by Autobot Bumblebee and the site states that the two will "ride the Dinobots into battle in Hong Kong" (keeping with the earlier announcements that the movie would be partially filmed in China).

That's not all though. Autobot Hound will make his debut as well as a former samurai Decepticon who wants to regain his honor and becomes an Autobot.

And then there's Megatron, who is presumed dead after the last film. Fans of the animated 1986 film Transformers: The Movie will be happy to know that Galvatron (basically Megatron reborn) will appear in the film. The character was originally voiced by the first Spock, Leonard Nimoy.

Transformers 4 stars Mark Wahlberg, Stanely Tucci, Kelsey Grammar and Peter Cullen as the voice of Optimus Prime. The sequel is slated to hit theaters June 27, 2014.

What do you think of this latest dose of Transformers 4 news? Are you excited that the Dinobots and Galvatron could be making an appearance? What other Transformers would you like to see appear in this movie?
